From our home, you will be only 15 minutes from Downtown Cape May where you can experience beautiful historic Victorian homes, the Cape May Lighthouse, and relax on the beautiful Cape May beaches. Go only 20 minutes from our Villa home and you will be in the Wildwoods, home of some of the largest beaches on the Jersey Shore, several amusement piers, a water park, mini golf courses, and a world-class boardwalk with everything from ice cream and pizza to Italian and Greek cuisine. The possibilities are endless! Rather just kick back and relax on your vacation? Then we have what you need. Take a walk on our lovely bay beaches, play a game of pool or just have a glass of wine while enjoying some of the most magnificent sunsets on the east coast! Our home sleeps up to 16 guests comfortably with ample storage for your personal items. Without a doubt, this home is indeed the Gem of the Bay! Don't miss out on the opportunity to enjoy a great vacation in one the most spacious homes on the Delaware Bay! The first floor offers a nice lounge area with a 55”smart tv, one memory foam queen sleeper sofa, one memory foam full sleeper sofa, dresser, and a large full bathroom. This space can easily be used as another bedroom with a private bath and private entrance. This is also where you will find a 32” smart tv. Also, a variety of board games, books, and DVDs. We have also included an upscale 8’ slate top pool table for your entertainment. There is a separate private entrance door and this space is also accessible from the second floor. The second floor is where everyone can comfortably gather in our beautifully furnished open-concept living room with a gas fireplace (nov-mar) and a 65" Flat Screen TV. We offer another comfortable memory foam queen sleeper sofa and a half bath. This Great Room opens to one of our huge decks with an extra comfy lounge area and reveals great views of the beach and bay. There is also plenty of deck seating (16+)for outside gatherings and meals. A Weber propane gas grill is conveniently located in the side yard which is accessible from the deck. Or you may choose to have your meals indoors. Our vast eat-in kitchen easily seats 12 and offers everything you will need to feel at home, including stainless steel appliances, dishwasher, and even a Kuerig for that after-dinner coffee! Adjacent to the kitchen is a beautifully decorated nautical formal dining room that will seat up to 8 guests. The third floor opens to a lovely and comfortable sitting/living room with a beautiful and comfortable memory foam queen sleeper, dresser, and boasts fabulous views of the Bay. This room can easily be used as another bedroom with its wall-wall lovely room-divider drapes to provide privacy when used as a bedroom. Step onto the upper sun deck from the sitting room to have a morning coffee, read a book, or just bask in the sun on one of our comfy chaise lounge chairs. On this level, there is also a convenient laundry room with full size washer and dryer and iron/iron board. Also on the third level are four bedrooms and two spacious full baths. Each bedroom is equipped with ceiling fans, flat screen smart tvs, and plenty of dresser and closet storage. There are two bedrooms that feature queen beds. A third bedroom offers two full size beds. The house is beautiful, well- stocked, and comfortably fit all of us. We especially enjoyed the upper deck to watch the sunsets, as well as the large living room for gathering and playing games. The location regarding the beach could not have been better as it was literally a one minute walk away. The bay water was incredibly warm (though questionable in its clarity), and we were able to take long morning walks on the beautiful but quiet beach. Proximity to restaurants and grocery stores was good ( though not walkable), and popular spots such as the Cape May boardwalk and beaches ( beach passes were a bonus!), Wildwood, and several breweries were within a short drive. Communication with Karen was outstanding and her expectations for her guests are comfortably clear. We had no issues and would highly recommend this home. Thank you, Karen! ##### Kristen C. Living room area large and comfortable for everyone to gather together. If you desire some "down time" there are cozy sitting areas on the second floor , the first level, and plenty of room on the massive decks. It was very comfortable. The owner is quickly available and responds within minutes if you have any concerns. We very much enjoyed our stay. ##### Cher K. The house is seconds to the beach and has everything you can ask for. Pack light as there’s a washe/dryer, plenty of beach chairs, toys, umbrellas, etc, Down town Cape May is about a 20mim and great at night to walk around with kids and grab some ice cream (restaurants are packed during the summer so make reservations). The short walk to the bay beach was good for the kids. And the ocean beaches were accessible, too, with a short drive. Lots of kitchen equipment, beach toys for the kids and umbrellas for the adults. The owners were very attentive in answering all our questions. The home was immaculate and even Hourican Isaias could not dampen our experience. It has all the comforts of home. It is very conveniently located to the Delaware, about two houses down from being beachfront. My kids had so much fun poking around and looking at things like horseshoe crabs that had washed ashore, and the water is shallow enough for a stretch and the waves game enough that you worry less as a parent. If you have small kids, this is really an ideal spot. The house was very clean and well organized. Karen is a great hostess and told us everything we needed to know prior to arrival. The hang out spaces are very cozy and nicely designed. The baths/showers are slightly dated, but that’s a very small item for what was an overall excellent experience.
