My husband, daughter, and her friend went skiing at Beech for a few days while we stayed there. You definitely need AWD or 4x4 during winter months to get up to the cabin; we made it up and down the driveway in snow just fine. Loved the big tub in the primary bedroom. Washing machine din't work, ran out of towels, had to use paper towels. 4\. Kitchen sink charcoal water filter flashing red, assume cartridge needed to be changed. It was a little inconvenient for the second bathroom to be downstairs and the bedroom to be upstairs. The shower only produced hot water in that bathroom so we could not use it. The communication with the owner or the person managing the rental was less than optimal. He provided info but links did not work in the communication but we had a cell phone number which was good to quickly get a message to him. The cabin was easy to get to and the roads were well paved. It did snow a lot and we were still able to drive down with no problem. The wood burning fireplace was a hit. We used it a lot. The porch was nice. Great view and loved the wildlife. Communication with the host was the only thing that was sub par. The responses we got, if we got one, were auto generated so never really answered a question.
