Set among pine trees and close to all amenities the house is five minutes walk (250 metres)from the superb sandy beach and two restaurants and a cafe/bar. Casa Azevado is within a few minutes drive of five superb golf courses, including the new Jack Nicklaus, Monte Rei course, and backs onto a national reserve of pine trees. Casa Azevado, laid out over three floors with terraces. The house back onto the beautiful national park and towards the sea, and is luxuriously furnished throughout its four bedrooms, large living room and dining area, together with a large kitchen. The linked house is air conditioned and is luxuriously furnished to a very high standard. The beautiful Ria Formosa!: The Ria Formosa in the Algarve is a beautiful labyrinth of lagoons separated from the sea by a coastal dune system which is broken up by various natural inlets. It is one of the most important nature reserves in the network of wetlands that links Europe and sub-Saharan Africa. The Ria has an enormous variety of natural habitats that provide refuge, feeding and breeding areas for an infinite number of flora and fauna and is a haven for birds. Séjour de 7 nuits en avril 2025 ### 6/10 – Acceptable #### jean michel G. 7 sept. 2016 #### Maison agréable à 5mn à pieds d'une belle plage dans un secteur calme Nous étions 10 personnes (3 couples et 4 enfants), l'annonce indique que la maison peut accueillir 12 personnes mais sincèrement elle est plutôt pour 6 à 8 personnes (8 si vous acceptez d'avoir une chambre en sous sol avec une toute petite fenêtre et sans climatisation). De plus, il n'y a que deux salles de bain et ça fait juste à 10\. Pour les couchages de la salle de jeu, ceux ci sont spartiates. Sinon la maison est bien équipée et propre (mis à part les fourmis dans la cuisine). Nous venons de faire 3 maisons différentes ces dernières semaines et en comparaison, même si effectivement la proximité avec la plage est pratique, le prix est légèrement trop cher. ##### jean michel G. They are things that we cannot bring all that way in our luggage. This property was very close to an incredible beach, when i say close i mean less than 5 min walk with young ones at heel. House didn't have any of the normal extras like salt and pepper, dish soap, hand soap etc. I've come to expect with VRBO listings. (We were left 2 dishwasher pods and 2 laundry pods-not adequate for 4 people doing their cooking at home for 5 nights). 2 of the wine glasses in the cupboard were cracked and a 3rd broke in my hand while towel drying it. Owner states he lives nearby but was not responsive for nearly 24 hours when the sink backed up, the dishwasher leaked all over the floor and the hot water went out. Fortunately my friend was able to figure out the hot water problem so we didn't have to take any more cold showers. His agent (who was a gem when she finally came) is only available during office hours, so if you have a problem in the evening or weekend (which we did) you're out of luck. There was no hand soap or garbage receptacles in either bathroom and no place to hang a hand towel in the upstairs bathroom for washing hands. Lastly, the house sprung a leak in the bathroom upstairs and we had to line the area behind the toilet with towels for 2 days. I've stayed in a lot of vacation rentals, and this was by far the most expensive I've ever rented. It's only the 2nd poor review I've ever left. I think the house was recently renovated and we were the unlucky problem finders and owner didn't seem very concerned. ##### Kibbie C. Pool table great for the rainy day. Perfect position for the beach and a good walk to catch the boat to Spain for a day. Well equipped except for a bread knife. But who’s bothered by that? The neighbourhood was quiet and it suited our needs perfectly. The town of Monte Gordo was a short walk along the beach and minutes driving. We did feel that that house needed a little updating but it didn't hinder our stay. We would very much love to return. ##### julie a.
