Petit hôtel familial
Petit hôtel familial sur les hauteurs de Vieques offrant un cadre intime et buccolique. Les chambres ont une décoration très personnelles ont aime ou pas mais donne l'impression d'être comme à la maison. Sur place il est possible de faire des balades à cheval et l'équipe de l'hôtel peut vous renseigner. Pas beaucoup de places pour le parking. Un bon choix pour ceux qui recherchent un cadre calme tout en étant proche des activités touristiques.

Hotel typique
Kelly et Penny nous ont aidé tout au long de notre court séjour (1 nuit). Le pick-up au ferry, les activités, les meilleurs restaurants... Tout ce qu'il fallait pour ne pas se prendre la tête. Comme il s'agit d'un petit hôtel familial, prévenez les de votre arrivée. Je recommande cet hôtel !!

S'apparenterait plus à un ranch qu'à un hôtel
Très déçu de cet hotel. A l 'arrivée, le réceptionniste nous confond avec un autre client et met un certain temps avant se se rendre compte de sa confusion... Une dame âgée avec des habits plein de tâches nous accueille en nous faisant un speech inintéressant à propos du chien de l'hôtel...qui est le héros d'une bande dessinée. La chambre était correcte mais les terrasses sont communes avec du vis à vis. Pour ceux dont je ne fais pas partie qui aiment les odeurs de ranch (il y a des chevaux et des coqs qui chantent tôt le matin), c'est parfait. Nous n'avons pas pris le petit déjeuner à l hôtel car ça ne donnait pas envie. Hôtel est un peu excentré du centre de la ville près d'un fortin.

Beautiful view on the top, garden is very nice, room is also very nice with kitchen. Pool was small but so close to the ocean, who needs the pool anyway. Kelly was good at communicating details I need. Walking uphill with luggage can be tough, but walking downhill is super easy. Restaurant nearby. They even offer horseback riding... beautiful and nice place. We enjoyed our Vieques trip.

We loved the Seagate! Penny and Kelly were so helpful and kind…the property is a beautiful garden of plants and animals of all kinds. And while this isn’t a fancy resort …it’s a beautiful place for adventure seekers and those of us looking for something special.

The entire property is such a refreshing break from commercial hotels. Penny is great. It was a perfect central location for our stay on Vieques, 15 minute golf cart ride to the bio bay, 5 minutes to the ferry. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. What a cool property run by wonderful people.

We loved being high above the town and having such a great view. Penny and Wendy were very friendly and helpful, and the grounds were lovely. Our rooms were very clean and comfortable, and we loved all the animals in the property. This was a unique and fun experience.

Sea Gate is super cute. Classic ‘70s style, beautiful views, interesting little architectural/design details all around (e.g., sea shells set into the concrete walls of the shower). In fact, it’s run by the granddaughter and an aunt of the family who built it (in 1977, I think they said). The rooms are somewhat tightly spaced but very comfortable and inviting. We would absolutely stay there again and wish we could have stayed longer this time. Oh yeah, it’s also has a small horse farm on site because they run horse riding tours.

We have enjoyed our stay at Seagate, Vieques. Penny and Kelly are wonderful hosts and we'll definitely go back for a longer stay. Just understand - this is not your regular hotel!! It’s just an amazing, versatile place to stay and have so much unique fun. Our 10yo enjoyed every minute of the time we spent there.

We loved every minute of our stay at this unique hotel that is run by wonderful lady, whose parents built it in 1977. If you want the Ritz Carlton, this isn't for you.. but if you want a convenient and unique experience, then this is the place.

This hotel is near the ferry. Only 13 minutes walk from the ferry. And this is a good spot for the sunrise! The owner Penny and Kelly are really nice! I will be there in the next time.

Roosters on the property crowing all day and most of the night, each night! Earplugs did not work. Kept us awake every night. SeaGate advertises as having a kitchen but dishes were toxic (aluminum pots, plastic utensils). to use. Also there were hardly any dishes, no bowls, few utensils. There was no battery in the fire alarm. The kitchen sink leaked water in the cabinet underneath. The owner is nice but does not make up for the rest. Would never return.
