Now that's a great way to wake up! This flat on the second floor of a holiday home has a cosy living room where you can get together after a nice day in the region. While you discuss tomorrow's plans, you can enjoy a meal you have prepared yourself in the well-equipped kitchen. The spacious bathroom with shower and bath offers the necessary relaxation at the end of the day. Lovely! This holiday home is located in the small mountain village of Viehhofen. An ideal starting point for a wonderful holiday, this village is located between the well-known Saalbach Hinterglemm and Zell am See - Kaprun. In winter, Viehhofen is a true paradise for families and active holidaymakers. Its central location in the middle of Austria's most famous ski resorts makes it an ideal starting point for an eventful ski holiday. From Viehhofen, you also take the ski lift to the Zell am See- Kaprun ski area. Yet here you're far away from the hustle and bustle but if you want more liveliness you'll be there in no time. The free ski bus towards Saalbach Hinterglemm departs just 600 metres from the holiday home. In summer, the nature around Viehhofen invites you to various activities in the fresh air. These include hiking, mountain biking, tobogganing, archery and paragliding. Enjoy summer in the mountains and discover the beauty of the Glemmtal! The apartment is located next to a working farm. Feb 4, 2024 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Ski 2024 We chose accommodation a bit further away from the main resorts to make the trip more affordable, there’s an easy 20 minute stroll to the Dorfstadl, Viehofen - great beer and great food, all beef and rainbow trout locally produced. Taxi recommended for the way back. There’s a 500 metre walk to the main road where you can catch the ski bus in both directions, the Number 7 loops from Viehofen to the Schoenleitenbahn, Vorderglemm however it often wouldn’t stop on our way back! This was easy to deal with, just stay on the bus and get off on the way back, an extra 5 minutes. The main bus 680 never stops there, both directions. Accommodation had sufficient pots, Pans etc and unusual for these types of properties an oven. Double beds are typically Austrian, large with two mattresses and separate quilts. Trotz niedriger Temperaturen und unserer Bitte wurde die Wohnung nicht beheizt.Nach Meinung unserer Wirtin wird im Sommer nicht geheizt,obwohl wir im September dort waren.Auch fiel uns sehr unangenehm ihre Unfreundlichkeit auf. Die Wohnung war sehr schön,da sie geschmackvoll und modern eingrichtet war. ##### Lothar S.
