Un simple motel au prix d'un hôtel !

Vu le prix, on pourrait s'attendre à mieux ! Des points de rouille un peu partout, des "nids de poules" sur les balcons. Des bouts de plafond qui tombent ! Bref, motel très vieillot. Le petit déjeuner pourrait au moins être compris dans le prix. Par contre le personnel est très serviable, et l'espace piscine est très bien.

joli hotel situé sur la plage.Nous étions 5(2 adultes et 3 jeunes) la chambre était assez petite du coup!.Jolie piscine.

Ce n'est pas un hôtel 3 étoiles

Il ne faut vraiment pas se fier aux photos sur le site. Nous avons été très déçu à notre arrivée dans la chambre. C'est un très vieil hôtel et le confort laisse à désirer. Selon leur site la piscine devait être chauffé mais comme le chauffe-eau est brisé, la piscine n'est pas chauffé. Les lits sont très petits et il y a une odeur d'eau de javel dans la chambre. Le réfrigérateur et le micro-onde étaient rouillés. Heureusement, la salle de bain qui est très très petite était propre. Le prix était trop cher pour la qualité de l'hôtel. La seule bonne chose de cet hôtel est la proximité de la plage.

Horrible hotel. Should be closed

No need for a key because door didn't even latch let alone lock! Paper thin walls. Furnishings being removed from lobby while we checked in. Hope hotel has now closed because absolutely not a safe place to stay. We checked out within an hour and asked for and received a refund.

Nightmare

Very disappointed. Looked good in pictures, but hotel has not been maintained. Balcony railings, doors, handles, etc. all rusted. Cigarette butts everywhere. Stayed 2 nights. Second night. Gone all day, got back to room at 11 PM. Had plugged my cellphone in and placed on night stand. Got a call and picked up cell phone to find it covered with sand fleas. They were all over the wall and night stand. Called manager. She tried to move us. Only room she could find had difficulty locking door. She told me I could check out, but she could not give me any money back. I called about 10 hotels in area, but no vacancy. Ended moving to room as it was pouring rain and no vacancies in area. Finally got door locked. Could not shut BR door due to rust. The room smelled, bed squeaked terribly. Night manager told me hotel was sold and they were tearing down starting at 10 am in morning. TV was shut off at 12 midnight. Now no sleep, no TV. In morning no ice, no food. Now fighting through credit card to get my $ back. Spent $155 a night for a nightmare.

Was very nice they have a older tv,frig and micro but comfortable beds great service very clean public restrooms and staff were all great. Laid in bed and watched ocean only about 75 feet away. Very nice stay

Being closed down and with good reason!

I figured ... it's on the ocean, how bad can it be??? The location is great, everything else is totally gross! Rusty, dilapidated, church in the lobby?? Our shower didn't work... it WAS pretty clean ans smelled like bleach but everything is so old, it just looks dirty and yuck! Quality of a $50 per night room. They said they would be refunding a portion of my money because of the non-working shower by check, let's see! Weird, they had already charged my card when I went to check out (most hotels review the charges with you 1st, right?) The very friendly and helpful man at the front desk said the hotel had been sold and would be closed down the following week ... he had no idea what the new owners were going to do with the property. My suggestion would be to invest a few million in a complete renovation or tear it down and start over again!

What is can never be again!

This is an old hotel but had what I was looking for.... I wanted to step out of my room and onto the beach. Towles and linnen were clean and the staff I encountered were very nice people. But we will not be able to come here again as the hotel is sold and will become very expensive condos (5Mil each). I would love to come here again..... But where to stay?

Great ocean front location. The hotel is comfortable. The staff was accommodating in providing extra towels and pillows. The rooms are adequate, but nothing luxurious.

Beach hotel

This is an older property so the wind & salt have weathered the outside. The bed & bedding were fine, there was a small older model frig, microwave, coffee maker. Carpet needs updated. Cigarette smell from outside enters thru the AC unit. Take febreeze & your own fluffy towels. Right on the beach so I'd go back in the summer. Not much to do in that area but shop, eat, & go to the beach. Drive to other points of interest. If you like Hamptons & Hiltons you won't like this, but if you want a less pricey on-the-beach property, this is good for a short stay.

Our road trip

It was a port in a storm, but we do require a little more finess normally. The place has seen better days, but cannot fault its cleanliness or it's position on the beach.

Marginal for the cost

It would appear that bare minimum is the standard, pool not vacuumed during the week, normal maintenance lacking all areas deteriorating. Only advantage, lowest cost on the beach in the area.

You get what you pay for.

The pool was full of sand.i never saw anyone clean the pool. The chairs were old and dirty at the pool. The rooms were in desperate need of a painting ! The security chain was missing in my room. The hotel is old and needs refurbishing!!!! Ample parking. Easy access to the beach. House keepers were efficient.

Embarassing event.

Pro: Right on the ocean, warm pool for cold days. Con: We were placed under the stairs. Our frig, microwave & table had been removed. We need frig for meds. No Wifi available in our room, had to go out to poolside. Not close to restaurants. Price was very high for quality. Needs painting badly. Mildew in tub area. Had to pay low price for their breakfast. Greeted at cafe door with, "Are you eating breakfast, that will be $5." Not, "Good Morning." I asked same lady for whole wheat toast she argued with me as diabetic that eating pancakes/syrup would be ok for one time. No sugar syrup wasn't available. I had to walk away from arguing as others began to look on. Embarassing.

Nice hotel and close to the beach

Nice hotel. No frills like complimentary breakfast but beautiful view of the beach and nice pool area. Very nice staff.

Right on the ocean. Nice to hear the surf at night

No mattress pads on the bed. Very basic no art work. Liked tile floors. Staff helpful.

The only nice thing I can say about the hotel is it had a nice pool and was close to the ocean.
