The Deer Retreat at Venus

Enjoy a relaxing retreat in this cute secluded cottage in the Highlands County area. Take in all of the nature, fresh air, relax in the hammock under the shade of the trees while you indulge in the wonderful sounds of the birds. Have a family meal or barbecue in the back deck surrounded by trees and a large backyard. At night turn the string lights on at the porch and deck, you will love the ambiance. Kick back and relax under the stars at the fire pit . Here you will fall in love with Venus.

The house has two bedrooms each one with a queen bed, we also have one inflatable high mattress for two additional guests that can be set up either in the living room, guest room or the guest shed (office space/laundry room). We have one bathroom, small dining area, kitchen with fridge, microwave, stove, toaster, coffee machine, kettle and kitchen utensils. There is a tv in the master bed room and one in the living room. Enjoy nature, beautiful wildlife, the stars outside at night and the fun board games and books we prepared for you. There is a grill outside, a fire pit with chairs, chopped wood for fire, a deck with patio furniture. Guest shed has a washer and dryer and a small designated office or reading space.

Guests will enjoy the privacy of having the whole house and the property for themselves (1/5 acre fenced property)

We ask guests to remember that this is the country side, so beware that animals roam by, but they are usually more afraid of humans than we are of them (deer, coyotes, bobcats, panthers, black bears, armadillos, turkeys, turtles, alligators, rabbits, squirrels, owls, etc.) also neighborhood dogs are friendly and sometimes walk around and stop by to say hi :).
