Parking was a breeze and close walking location to Ventura Pier (ocean) was nice. Motel is more meager than what I am used to. The property is older, shower is small, and there's no soundproofing between the walls. However, for a basic place to stay that's cheaper than alternatives, it met my needs. Good locks and blackout curtains. Nice reception lady. It was quiet on a Saturday night. Safe area. The parking lot does fill up later, if you leave you'll lose your spot so just walk or taxi to downtown, it's a 10 minute walk. Also walkable to Ventura pier/beach. The Kwikimart store across the street is very convenient but overpriced fyi. Good close casual dining options for fish tacos and Mexican food literally a block away: Spencer MaKenzie's Fish Co. and my personal fave, Corrales #1\.
