Convenient location once you find it in the dark! Newish taps. Downsides: (and made more pertinent due to our lousy exchange rate which is beyond anyone's control) hotel is up 36 stairs to reception and a further 15 to our room! Lots of sweaty exercise with heavy cases! Lol. No towels on arrival though quickly fixed. Water took ages to come out warm (taps not labeled - bit of a waste in a water scarce town) and had to bend down to toiletries outside of shower as no shelf, which felt dangerous. Shower tiny and slippery. Sink and shelf wonky so everything fell off. Loo seat broken (yet labelled up as clean!). Furniture ancient (as for everything in Venice!) and bed springs pretty lumpy. No fridge or kettle but I guess expected. Hotel v lightly manned (one reception staff member was flitting beteween other hotels) Rooms not cleaned daily. Dirty and smelly. I cannot understand how an accommodation facility of this type can be opened and how it is not closed by the hygiene service. The time to see the room and see how badly hygienic it was and we ran away (I'm just saying that the bathroom hadn't been cleaned and there were residues from the previous guests in the toilet, horrible)! Luckily we found another accommodation otherwise the weekend was totally ruined! If you don't want to experience a nightmare, avoid booking in this place (a dump rather than a hotel). Albergo da evitare! Sporco e maleodorante. Non riesco a capire come possa essere aperta una struttura ricettiva di questo tipo e come non venga chiusa dal servizio di igiene. Il tempo di vedere la camera e vedere in che condizioni igieniche pessime era e siamo scappati via (io vi dico solo che il bagno non era stato pulito e nel wc c'erano residui dei precedenti ospiti, orribile)! Per fortuna abbiamo trovato un'altra sistemazione altrimenti il weekend era totalmente rovinato! Jedoch alles sehr einfach gehalten. Leider war bei mir die Dusche defekt, sodass gefühlt kein Wasser aus der Duschbrause kam. Des Weiteren kam beim Betätigen der Klospülung, Wasser aus dem Rohr. Ansonsten war aber alles andere ganz gut im Zimmer. Des letzte Problem, dass es gab, war das Verständigen mit den Menschen an der Rezeption, die leider fast alle kein Englisch konnten. Für diesen Preis sehr zu empfehlen. Auch das Frühstück war einfach aber lecker mit ausgezeichnetem Kaffee. Am besten war das Personal. Sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Außerdem können sie viele verschiedene Sprachen und sind bei Fragen sehr hilfsbereit. Lage vom Hotel top. Zu Fuß sind es nur wenige Minuten zur Rialtobrücke und sehr zentral. The staff tried to be friendly, but the room was tiny, the eléctrica outlets did not work, and the bathroom was far from nice (tiny and unpleasant).
