Admirably tucked away just a quick sidestep off the vibrant little shop-filled thoroughfare known as ‘Calle della Mandola’ (Street of the Almond) connecting Campo Santo Stefano and Campo Sant’ Angelo with the famous Rialto Bridge and district to the north and St. Mark’s Square and its myriad attractions to the south, Ca’ Rossini 2 is spread over three levels (starting on the third floor) and accessed by way of an entrance and staircase on the floor below. Sleeping 4+1, offering internet connection and air-conditioning throughout, and within seconds of the Multisala Rossini Cinema, a large Despar supermarket for stocking up on supplies, and the newly opened Rivoire (a brand first established in Florence housing a pizzeria/restaurant, cafe/bar and a terrace with cocktail bar and offering lunch, aperitivi and dinner, open from 11 a.m. to midnight Wed-Sun – ideal for late arrivals!), the bottom floor of the apartment comprises a main open plan living/dining/fully-fitted kitchen area with light wooden flooring and whitewashed beams - a pristine sanctuary of style and contemporary elegance where sleek furnishings, clean lines, soft lighting and pale driftwood colours combine to create a soothing ambience of calm and urban sophistication. To one side of the room sits the master bedroom with a double bed and direct access onto its own little south-facing terrace, while to the other lies a modern mosaic-tiled bathroom with shower and washing machine and a staircase rising directly into Ca’ Rossini 2’s second livingroom on the floor above. Beautifully co-ordinated in keeping with the rest of the apartment, the bedroom has a double bed which nestles beneath the eaves and its own stylish en-suite bathroom\* (again with extensive mosaic tiling and a shower) plus a further staircase leading up to a little bijou open bedroom with single bed sitting beneath the beams on the very top floor.\* \* Please be aware that access to this bathroom and the single bedroom on the top floor is exclusively via the second bedroom. Moments on foot to some of Venice's finest attractions including the gorgeous Gothic Palazzo Fortuny (Museum of Mariano Fortuny y Madrazo - famous photographer, painter, stage and textile designer), the charming Scala Contarini del Bovolo and the Teatro La Fenice, and within a few minutes of two vaporetto (water bus) stops for easy travel around the city - one at Rialto on the Riva Del Carbon and the other at Sant’ Angelo. Also close to two ‘Traghetto’ services ferrying passengers by gondola across the Grand Canal (please check operating times) - one between the Riva Del Carbon near Rialto in the district of San Marco and the Riva Del Vin at San Silvestro in the district San Polo and the other between Calle Del Tragheto near Sant' Angelo in San Marco and San Toma in San Polo. For arrivals between 8.00 p.m. and midnight there is an additional cost for "late arrival" of Euro 50, to be paid in cash upon arrival. We organize arrivals between midnight and one o'clock with an additional cost of Euro 100, after this time we reserve the right to accept the customer always with a supplement to be quantified according to the time of arrival. Beds will be arranged as either doubles or twins as shown in the photos. L’appartement est bien équipé. Nous avons eu des réponses rapides à toutes nos questions et un excellent service comme la réservation de notre bateau-taxi, une possibilité de laisser nos valises, malgré l'arrivée plus tôt que prévue. Permet de profiter de toutes les beautés de Venise en rayonnant à pied ou en vaporetto. Disposition idéale de l'appartement, spacieux, tout équipé, très propre. Belle pièce à vivre permettant de se reposer, jouer à des jeux de société en famille, coin repas parfait. Service d'accueil super et une fois sur place aussi, disponibles et réactifs à toute heure ! The communication from them was very prompt and helpful - we speak only English and that was absolutely no problem. They arranged for our private boat from the airport and sent edited photo to show the direction to take. They updated me on the prices of the boat when it changed and asked confirmation before booking which I appreciated. We were met on the dock after the boat ride by another associate who walked us right to the apartment. This was a nice touch as we didn't have to navigate ourselves there after a long journey. He was very easygoing and personable and talked to us a little bit about what we passed on the way. The check-in process was very thorough yet quick. All our questions were answered and the air conditioning turned on :). The only part reason for less than perfect was because during our stay we noticed a small issue with a bedside table drawer and shower wand and didn't want those to be charged against us as our damage. I emailed pictures but didn't hear back. In the end we were not charged, but this did cause me some consternation as I don't like not knowing. To be fair, 4 stars for communication is too low, but I can't do a 4.8\. Everything else was perfect. Certainly book this place if you have 4 adults - each bedroom was comfortable and cool and having a bathroom for each couple was also excellent. Washer & drying rack. Not an issue for us, but there were several flights of stairs you must climb. No elevator. The apartment was great, but I think the booking agency was fantastic. Cristina recommended restaurants & arranged for us to have an incredible private tour guy- Roberta. Caterina arranged water taxis from the train station/airport & the pick up station was less than 5 min from our apartment. So much easier!!! Séjour de 2 nuits en juin 2025 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### William K. 22 juin 2025 Points forts : Propreté #### Best VRBO Ever I have done over ten VRBOs in Greece/Italy/Portugal, but this was hands down the nicest and most spacious VRBO. 3 bedrooms on 3 levels, my kids were thrilled. Only downside was having to walk up about 6 flights of short sets of stairs which with our bags was a bit painful, but the apartment size and “newness” made up for. About a 5 min walk from Realto bridge, location was perfect at the end of the stay for us to take the direct airport ferry from Realto where we were able to make it to the airport with just a single ferry ride.When we arrived Sylvio met us at the ferry stop so we didn’t have to worry about figuring out the location on our own.Overall A - I forget whether all the bedrooms and bathrooms were shown on the booking, but this place clearly needs to be marketed better. ##### William K. This property was gorgeous, spacious, and in a great location! Right next to vaporetto stop, supermarket, restaurants, bars, and less than a 10-minute walk to St. Mark's Square. The apartment is huge, renovated, and clean. Luca met us at the water taxi stop to walk us over and give us a tour of the apartment. He was very friendly and helpful. The property was more than spacious enough and our sons had their own private rooms and plenty of space. The top room is the smallest, a single sized bed, but it was more than adequate. The main floor gave us room to hang out after a long day or a quick afternoon break. The location was ideal. A short walk to all the attractions, markets, bars, etc. Our guide met us at the dock to show us in and answered quickly. They even helped us print our train tickets since we forgot the paper copies at home and they arranged a water taxi. Just be aware… there are a lot of stairs. The description is very clear, but it’s about 3 flights to the apt, then 2 to the main floor. Then there are 2 bedrooms, each another flight. If you can’t do stairs, it’ll be a challenge. Definitely will stay there again! ##### ryan w. The location is wonderful and it is huge!!! I wish it had an electronic key system rather than having to coordinate to meet someone, but the check in process was very simple and the response and communication was perfect. Within walking distance to the main attractions. Very close to the water taxi stop which was super convenient. A decent grocery store was very close. The AC worked well. The only negative was no elevator and a lot of stairs. The showers took a while to warm up but they got there. Check in was great and they organized our taxis. ##### Jaclyn d. This property was exactly as described: very clean, room to spread out, with modern finishes and all the amenities we needed. The location is superb. It is in a quiet neighborhood and was a short walk to everything we wanted to see and do. There was also a market right around the corner which came in handy. But the best part of our stay was Enrica and Marco. From Enrica’s professional communication prior to, and upon our arrival, to having Marco meet us when we arrived via water taxi to show us around the apartment, they made the beginning of our vacation effortless. They arranged water taxis from the airport and to the train station when we departed. And Marco recommend some restaurants that were wonderful. We would not hesitate to stay here again on our next visit to Venice! ##### Leighann M. The apartment is beautiful, with really comfy beds, great bathrooms, and everything you could need for a great stay. Its central location made it easy to get around, yet it was SO quiet! I would highly recommend. Communication of queries was really easy & a fast response - again, something that's very nice. ##### Stef L. Fortunately there was someone waiting to check us in and came out and found us. From the description I didn’t realize there were so many stairs but that’s Europe. Probably 3 flights to get to the front door then another 2 ½ to the living room, then another to the upper bedroom but aside from that it was nice to have a 2nd bathroom. Never could figure out the heating and AC but the weather was mild. Amenities were nice, paper towels, salt, pepper, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, coffee and sugar were available.
