"Loved the hotel, we were there for one night, check in was extremely smooth, the room was very pretty – loved the complimentary sherry and fruit in the room, and we had a wonderful view of the sea. Breakfast was awesome, cheese, fruit, yoghurt and a full cooked breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful, and overall, it was a great experience. The hotel is geared for both summer and winter visitors (both air-conditioning and electric blankets in the room), which is perfect for the Western Cape where you can literally have four seasons in one day! Within easy walking distance to the Wharf (which has the art gallery and restaurants) so the location was great! Would highly recommend."

Breakfast was excellent. Shirley, the manager who runs this place, merits special mention. She helped us get our bags upstairs, served us our breakfast and always had a smile and a kind word. The cleaning lady was lovely and friendly and did our laundry when we arrived and everything was washed and dried in no time.
