On the ground floor is the entrance that leads into the living area divided between the dining area and a small sitting area with TV. The yellow of the sun colors this part of the house. The new kitchen, is fully equipped with, refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher, microwave, gas hob, kettle, toaster, coffee maker and all cooking equipment. The apartment is located in the centre of Varenna, just 700 meters from the Varenna Esino station with trains to and from Milan at all hours, and 300 meters from the pier that connects Varenna to Bellagio, Cadenabbia, Menaggio, Tremezzo and everything. the centre of the lake. Budget friendly but note the second bedroom does NOT have a door. Which makes it difficult when sharing with friends. The bedroom also has an AC that does NOT cool. Think twice before booking in the hot months of June July August. The kitchen did not even have paper towels. They left us 2 rolls toilet paper for 4 adults for 3.5 days- ran out. No coffee pods for the coffee machine advertised. Due to no bedroom door and non cooling air conditioning unit would not stay again. Checkin staff was very nice and close to unit. ##### Michelle B. By coincidence all three dinner reservations were within mere 10 steps of this place. While specific key pickup hours is not my preferred method of check-in, it was pleasant enough. The apartment was clean. Just a couple small inconveniences that might be easy to remedy: adding thicker curtains in the main bedroom would be great as a very bright street light had us move to sleeping in the bedroom with two twin beds to avoid the light (not good for jet lag either!). Interestingly this bedroom has no doors. Also suggest adding a shelf within the shower to put soap and all. Just like most places in Varenna you should expect steep steps to arrive at this location. ##### Kayla T.
