« We stayed as family with 2 teenage boys in the Grand Residence for 5 nights which was spectacular, with views across the bay and rainforest. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the cart ride down to the beach was fun. We had a great time, however were disappointed with the food - one night the fish was inedible. We were also let down by the constant power outages and delay in firing up the back up generator - we were left in the dark with no running water for hours on our first night....

« My wife and I ventured to Sau Bay around the 20th of June, shortly after it opened. At a high level, we give the place 6 out of 5 stars! At the top of our experience was the incredible staff that greeted us and took care of us throughout our 5-day stay. We had previously spent a couple of weeks at some other resorts in the Mamanuca islands, and while those were also great, Sau Bay stood head and shoulders above them in terms of service, privacy, and overall experience. « We were surprised that the property only consisted of one unit. It was a little more rustic than expected. However the owner shared meals with us at his home & the food was unique & delicious. As a dive master he took us snorkeling & was a great guide. He showed us around his property & the construction he has been working on for three additional units. The location is great. Made up for the rustic accommodations. »
