Rooms were well appointed, great bathroom facilities (including a 3rd toilet downstairs) and plenty of space for us all. We enjoyed walking to various locations (Lake Weeroona, Rosalind Park, Golden Dragon Museum, Bendigo Woollen Mills) each day. A very comfortable and enjoyable stay with everything we needed and more! »

As someone who values sustainable living, the features such as double-glazing, solar panels, timber floors, and dozens of indoor plants all made for a wonderful holiday experience for me and my teen kids, despite it being a very cold and rather drizzly week. « Great house with plenty of activities to do given the area dosnt necessarily offer a heap. Was a perfect place for the trip we had planned and for the number of us going. Only downside is my friend brought his basketball hoping for the basketball hoop to be there, but wasnt. Not a bad thing, apart from that everyone was happy »

The kitchen is easy to cook in and well stocked with pots and pans, plates and everything you need to cook up a storm. The property is private and a little oasis. We have stayed in Yack many times, but this is our first time at Red Box Retreat - and we hope to come back! Highly recommended. »
