Reutte is located in the altitude of 853 meters on the Lech river, and has a population of 6,210. The name "Reutte" has its origin in "roden" or "reuten" meaning glade. Reutte is a popular holiday resort and its proximity to the famous Bavarian Castles of Neuschwanstein, Schwangau or the Ehrenberg ruins make Reutte a cultural destination as well as a skiing destination. Von einigen anderen Hotels war uns bekannt, dass so manches Bild beschönigend wirkt. Aber hier entsprechen die Bilder wirklich dem, was man sieht. Alles ist tiptop renoviert und es wird sehr darauf geachtet, dass auch alles sauber und in schuss gehalten wird. Die Verpflegung, insbesondere das Abendmenü war hervorragend.
