The house is about 10 minutes from Angels Camp, and like 15 to New Melones. The house is comfortable and clean. The beds are very comfortable as well! Lots of movies (DVDs under the tv in the living room). The TV in the master does not (that we could find) have a remote so that's a bit of a bummer. You can park a boat in the driveway, if you unhook it from your truck & there is a place in the garage to charge your battery (outlet and run your own cord out the door). The 2nd night we stayed hooked to the truck and parked in front of the house. The neighborhood is.... well in my opinion less than charming. But if you're looking for a place to sleep after a long day fishing, this is it!! It's worth the little drive. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip up that way. ##### Jennifer S. After searching just about everywhere we did find a flashlight but the batteries were dead. Luckily, the power came back on after an hour or so. Suggest you provide directions how to use the dish and DVD remote. A little extra effort to make the place inside and out look nicer could help you with increasing the rental. Oh, the wall A/C unit didn't work. On the positive side, the rental was close to a lot of attractions, was quiet and the kitchen had a lot of utensils. ##### Paul V. We brought our dogs and they absolutely looooved the yard! It was huge and completely fenced so they got to play and run around. The house is very accommodating in size and location.
