![The "Itatiaia National Park" is located in a city called Itatiaia, 2 hours from the center of Rio de Janeiro and to get where this photo was taken, it is necessary to walk 10 kilometers by car up a dirt road at the entrance of the upper part of the Park near the place known as "Posto Marcão". The park has several accesses, many possibilities of footpaths and crossings and it is possible to camp.

I liked the accommodation is staffed throughout day and night, and that you can leave your key there if you want to so you don’t need to worry about losing it when going out partying or to the beach. Staff was kind and the area is pretty convenient between beaches in Ipanema & Copabana. They changed towels everyday which I wasn’t expecting and thought was nice.

The pool needs some serious love, daily cleaning and new water! As does the outdoor furniture and space. The staff from the front door to cafeteria to cleaning lady were all extremely nice and helpful. Area is fantastic! Thanks for a fabulous vacation!
