"Stunning hotel on the lake, convenient walk to everything. The staff was friendly and helpful and the restaurants delicious. The only downside was that the air conditioning did not work in our room even after staff assured us, it was fixed. It was over 26 and was cooler outside. No accommodation was given. "

The only oddity is lack of microwave, but you get an oven instead (and food reheated that way tastes better, anyway). If you like windows open, the road by the property is not quiet on weekday mornings, and there are no reliable spots to find food anywhere near the property. But that's kind of an Italy thing, anyway. Learn the bus system before you arrive -- it's state-of-the-art and your best bet in the hills. "
