The staff at the doors and front desk were friendly and accommodating. They also provide a free shuttle to and from vail village. This property is as close to lionshead gondola as you can possibly get. It is steps from the door which makes for a great ski experience. Afterwards, end the day with a nice hot tub overlooking the mountains. We went in the spring season and had the hot tub to ourselves every night. Hoping to stay here again next year! ##### Alexia B. If you can find a place with A/C, I recommend it even in these mountain cities. The issue of the loft being uncomfortably warm was cited by someone before us but the property owner said they had installed new ceiling fans - which might have helped had ours been functional. ##### Ed W. The entrance was hard to find for a first-time stay and the gate operation required a code which we did not have making for some frustration. Because of a heat spell the lack of air conditioning made sleeping in the loft uncomfortable despite the fans in the condo. You can't ask for a more perfect location! Plus the fabulous view of the mountain and river. The balcony looks out to the mountain and river. The concierge was wonderful, the pool fabulous, and just steps away from the gondola. The unit is brand new (or newly remodeled?) and well maintained.
