Perfect location in the heart of Vail Village. Close to everything we wanted to do. Rooms were a little warm in the summer but with the box fan we were a little more comfortable. Maintenance was quick to fix the one issue we did have. Complimentary breakfast was great to have considering price of everything else nearby!! Older hotel but dripping with character. Front desk staff was engaging and helpful. Breakfast was very good. rooms are noisy, both from adjacent spaces but also from the street. I could live with it given the coolness of the hotel. Parking was probably the worst part of the experience. Because of the Kringle market, I could not get to the hotel's parking garage or even close enough to drop off my luggage. I went to one of the garages that showed as "public parking". When I got to the hotel they gave me a coupon to cover my parking at the Public garage. But, apparently, I wasn't in the correct public garage. The coupon did not say which garage it applied to. So I got socked with some pretty high parking fees. The fees were not as bad as the feeling that I just got played.
