The room was spotlessly clean and nicely decorated, the hot water shower worked well. The señor at reception was incredibly nice and helpful beyond words. He will give recommendations on where to eat and help you with any questions. He also called a taxi for me and waited with me for the taxi to arrive as Uber doesn’t work in Uyuni. He has solved multiple problems we encountered. He helped booking a taxi to the bus station at very early morning, and made sure we got on the taxi. He provided local information about the two bus stations. The old bus station was actually none-existing, which was printed incorrectly on our pre-booked bus ticket. This helped us to have avoided a lot of trouble. The room is quiet and comfort. The hotel room that I stayed is clean and its amenities are in good condition; however, it is very cold at night since there is no heater. I stayed there for two nights. I did not take a shower on the day after the first night because the owner/manager did not turn on hot water; after coming back after the sight seeing tour of the Salt Flat I went to see the owner and requested he turn on hot water at 6 a.m. tomorrow so that I can take a shower before leaving. There was no hot water at 6 a.m. because he did not turn it on, I had to wake him up and requested the hot water be turned on, and then for some reason the hot water could not come up to my room the owner had to fix it. When he finally got the hot water up to my room it was too late I had to leave.
