"Max and his wife are fantastic, caring amd interesting people who treat you like family. Max is supremely knowledge of the area, the dinning options and activities available. He is responsive and helps you book and facilitate everything. The place is clean centeral and has the great vibe of staying with family. The breakfast is fresh and delicious. The coffee is divine. "We ended our first trip to Costa Rica, in Uvita, at Nature's Edge. We travelled the Pacific Coast, but it wasn't until we got to Uvita that we experienced the true jungle. Nature's Edge is tucked away about 2 miles up a steep road (you truly do need a 4x4 to access it, but we had a little AWD Suzuki, that we put in manual mode, and that did the trick just fine). Once you turn into the property you pass the first two casita's on your left, and if you're lucky, you booked one of the lower casitas...

"Clean modern room, best shower in Costa Rica at this pricepoint. Fast wifi with excellent coverage. No AC, but room is designed for that with large screens just below the ceiling and a big overhead fan. We stayed for two nights when day time temps were in the upper 80s on the beach, and we were very comfortable at altitude with the breezes from the ocean. The host, Lori, is a gem. "Beautiful setting. Pond with foliage all around. A bit secluded though. Rooms were amazing. Open spaces in room & large shower area. You can definitely hear the jungle. It felt like glamping in the jungle. The breakfast was delicious & homemade. At your convenience as well. Wish there was meat though. Hosts were lovely & friendly. Very accommodating. "Jessica the owner was so helpful and amazing customer service. The place is wonderful and infinity pool was great. She also advised us places to visit which were really helpful. "Our stay at Villa Kristina Maria was absolutely amazing ( the ocean view,the wild life and the lush jungle ) Our family of nine couldn’t have picked a better place to stay for our first trip to Costa Rica.. only about 10 min from the town of Uvita made it easy to get groceries and experience all that the area had to offer , zip line , snorkeling, hiking and the beautiful waterfalls and beaches..The locals were amazing and very helpful..
