« IF you want something private and beautiful this is the place. It is off the beaten path but well worth it. Getting to see deer every day was amazing. You can even roll down your window and talk to the them. It was exactly the peace we needed. The view is breathtaking. »

« Charming great little cottage fully equipped right down to a clothes line if you don’t wish to use the dryer, bbq and lovely back deck. Having 2 bathrooms was a bonus. Walking distance to stores, restaurants, etc all within 10 minutes. Excellent base to south shore destination- an hour to Halifax. Would book this one again in a heartbeat! »

« Everything described by previous renters was perfectly accurate and as advertised.. Our stay was exceptional. The location was so very relaxing and there was nothing that we could have wanted or needed. The hosts were very accommodating and we felt very welcomed. The fire pit overlooking the water was so much enjoyed by us. We will be back!! »

« The cottage was spotless and very well appointed. Especially the kitchen: came supplied with both pod and drip coffeemakers - and coffee along with some other staples. Communication with the owners was clear and timely. While the property lot runs down to the sea at Western Shore, the cottage was not truly "ocean front". It is set back from the ocean a bit but we could sit right beside the sea. Lovely! »

« Maison grande, très très proche, avec beaucoup de charme, sur une rue en cul de sac très calme. Vue sur la mer, 1 minute de marche d’une toute petite plage très tranquille. Super kiosque de vente de fruits de mer à l’entrée de l’ile, 2 minute en auto, 5 en vélo. Les moules sont cultivées dans la baie littéralement devant la maison. 5 minutes de Lunenburg. Difficile de trouver mieux pour explorer cette partie de la cote Néo-Ecossaise. »

« Les îles de La Have sont à découvrir et l'emplacement très privé du chalet d'Alfred (géré par John) est idéal pour le faire. Vous pourrez même vous rendre en kayak sur une petite île juste en face et à tous les soirs, voir par la grande fenêtre du salon de 5 à 6 chevreuils brouter tranquillement. Nous aurions seulement souhaité qu'il y ait un ensemble laveuse-sécheuse, car quasi impossible de faire sécher les serviettes si le temps est couvert et humide.
