Janet was most gracious and helpful in making the arrangements. We drove for 4.5 hours in the dark and pouring rain to arrive at her rental. We found it to be comfortable and welcoming. In the daylight the next morning we could see that we were located in a relatively quiet, residential neighborhood. Fortunately, there’s a place for breakfast directly across the street. People we met were friendly. We stayed 8 nights at the close of their summer season, so we never saw an abundance of vacationers with boats for the nearby Lake Waquimakeg. Sitting out on the covered deck, we enjoyed the resident hummingbirds that visited the two hanging baskets on the deck.
