Our cabin is built out of old wood and doors found on the farm. It is surrounded by pastures that are the home to our cows, horses, goats, miniature donkey and chickens. My husband and I drove up from TN for a family reunion, and loved having a place to stay all to ourselves. The location was great--only about 20 minutes to where we needed to go in any direction. Melba even gave us permission to go look at their new baby goats, which absolutely made my day. I cannot wait to come back! I will mention that it does get bright as the sun rises, and the best is VERY soft. What more could we ask for? My husband and I were looking for rest and peace, and that’s exactly what we got. Melba was an excellent host and even invited us to see the birth of two beautiful baby goats. Snuggling with those babies during their first few days of life was the BEST! The cabin is spacious and the view is beautiful. Melba and her family did an awesome job with the decor from the old barn doors used in the kitchen and bathroom to the rustic pieces throughout the cabin. The nice big windows covered with the sheer curtain made you feel like you were at a retreat for sure. Looking out at the farm land and animals was truly peaceful. My husband had no idea where I was taking him and when he walked into the cabin he was in loved with the place as well. Thank you Melba for sharing this gem with the world! ##### Monica J.
