You follow everything that happens on the water from the apartment or the terrace. In this cosy penthouse in a central location, you can relax completely, cook from an open kitchen and enjoy many hours outside on the large balcony terrace on the lake side. Enjoy endless great views! In the harbour, you will find several catering establishments, bike and boat hire and even a local beer brewery. Bring your own boat or rent a sloop to discover the surroundings. In the immediate vicinity, you will find an outdoor swimming pool, Huis van Hilde (House of Hilde) about the archaeology of the area, various forts and mills and also the cosy centre of Uitgeest is worth a visit. The park is easily accessible via the motorway and Schiphol Airport is close by. Uitgeest is also located between the cities of Alkmaar, Haarlem and Amsterdam. So plenty of opportunities for a wonderful stay with day trips! Charging an e-car at the accommodation is not possible and not allowed. We chose this location because it was central to the small towns we were wanting to hit several, not just Amsterdam. It was off the interstate so it was very convenient but didn't have the interstate noise. The rental was very clean and we loved ALL of the windows! Having coffee and watching the sunrise over the lake was very pretty. We did have to rent towels because those were not provided. Loved having a washer and dryer since we were at the end of our 10 day travels. The master beds (twins that converted to king) did show some age, they were soft in the middle for use. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in the Penthouse. Thank you! ##### Jodi E.
