Inside the tiny home cabin there is a welcoming queen size bed and smart TV. The bathroom features a toilet, small sink and shower (please note that the shower comfortably fits guests under 6\`). The amenities continue with a kitchen including an induction cooktop, microwave, drip coffee maker & kettle. The living area boasts a leather loveseat and eating area. This cabin is neighbours with the Cozy Cove trailer next door. Evenings can be spent enjoying a glass of wine on your deck before snuggling up on the couch to watch a movie. THE PROPERTY: Located in the Tiny Cove on the upper portion of our property with the Tranquil Tiny Home is our Cozy Cove Trailer/Caravan and our Forest 5th Wheel. Carolyn’s cove is one of the few accommodations in our area located on the ocean with its own private beach. The property is nestled on two acres of rainforest on the Ucluelet inlet. We have the main house (directly on the ocean) which has 3 adults only (guests 13 and over) rooms in the walk out basement overlooking the inlet. Each room has their own private ensuite and entrance, bar fridge, keurig coffee & tea station. Our rooms open to a semi private patio, and common back yard with a 6 person hot tub along with patio table and chairs to soak in the beautiful surroundings. All rooms have their own TV, sitting area and high speed WiFi. The property also has a detached double-car garage with an upper level Treehouse cabin. This open concept cabin has a full kitchen and living area. The bathroom has an amazing tiled shower and varnished driftwood vanity with raised glass sink. With its own deck, guests can enjoy private ocean views or visit with other guests in the yard. At low tide walk on the beach, or spend your time bird watching - one guest identified 31 species on our shoreline. At high tide, watch for visiting seals and sea lions. This Tranquil Tiny Home cabin has its own private deck to enjoy the view, with seating area, BBQ and private hot tub. There is a path leading to the shoreline where you can launch a kayak, stand up paddle board, or go for a walk. There are plenty of areas to relax and enjoy our little piece of rainforest paradise. Carolyn’s Cove is all about quiet peaceful comfortable surroundings. Locally there are plenty of quiet spaces, trails to hike or water activities to enjoy. We respect our visitor’s privacy while making ourselves available to answer any questions you may have. It’s your vacation, let us help you make it memorable. Ucluelet offers an abundance of outdoor activities such as stand up paddle boarding, surfing, as well as bear, whale watching and ocean fishing tours. Visit the aquarium or walk the Wild Pacific Trail, or any number of local beaches. Your options for getting around the area are easiest by vehicle, however another option might be a motorized bike. Just keep in mind Ucluelet is 16km away. There is no local public transit other than taxi. It is best to visit the Ucluelet/Tofino area by vehicle. The maximum number of guests in our Tranquil Tiny home cabin is two for guests aged 13+. Please note: 1\. you may find the occasional bug or spider in the accommodation as we live near water in the rainforest, 2\. Hot tub use is not guaranteed during your stay due to unforseen circumstances including but not limited to repairs and maintenance. 3\. Due to Ucluelet\`s remote location, there could be a disruption of power which could also affect our water supply. There are no refunds for disruptions less than 24 hours in duration. 4\. Due to unforseen circumstances, not all amenities are guaranteed to be available during your stay. 5\. Our property is protected with outside security cameras at all entrances, public areas and over hot tubs. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us! Quiet time 10pm to 8am We expected our guests to behave in a civilized manner and to be good neighbors with other guests. If your actions disrupt the enjoyment of any of our other guest, you could be financially responsible for the cost of their nights stay. As well you could be asked to leave the property with no refund. We do not allow the use of open flame appliances on our property. This includes the use of candles inside or outside the accommodation. Self Check in is 4pm. No early check-ins. Please respect quiet time hours by keeping noise to a minimum Check out: wash, clean, dry and put away all kitchen items that you use during your stay. Clean up any cooking messes (stove, oven, microwave etc). If you prefer that we complete these tasks for you after check out, we charge our cleaning fee rate of $50/hour Carolyn\`s Cove is a registered accommodation provider. We want to let potential guests know that you will be visiting our Home on the ocean, which we are choosing to share with you. We want you to have an truly enjoyable visit while remembering to respect our property. When you book with Carolyn\`s Cove, You (the Guest) agree to the following Rental Agreement, Registered Guests Only REGISTERED guests are permitted to be on the Property and to use amenities owned and provided by Carolyn’s Cove. Registered guests are required to provide ID upon arrival. Unregistered guests found on the property will be asked to leave immediately, and further, registered guests found to be in contravention of this agreement may be asked to leave immediately with no refund of the reservation. Damage Policy The person making and paying for the rental of the accommodation is financially responsible for the cost of repairs arising from any damage beyond normal wear and tear including but not limited to carpet/floor stains, interior wall damage, appliance repairs arising from improper use, window and window covering damage, permanent linen stains, dry cleaning costs associated with stains, breakage, theft and any other damage noted on departure incurred, sustained or brought by any person occupying or using the accommodation. Any theft, lost items, excessive wear and tear, or damage will be charged to the reservation holder. As the reservation holder you are agreeing to be the person financially responsible for the rental, and any costs incurred by you or your guests and give Carolyn\`s Cove full authority to charge the Credit Card number given at time of booking. Carolyn\`s Cove has the right to charge your credit card in advance of repairs being completed and will refund the difference once any of the listed reasons above as been completed. Keys If you are provided with keys to your accommodation, please leave them in the room upon checkout. There is a $25 charge to replace any lost keys. Septic System ONLY human waste and the toilet paper provided are to be flushed. No food scrapes or other items are to be washed down the sinks. Drain stoppers in the showers and tubs are to be used at all times to protect hair and other foreign objects from entering the system. Violators of this house rule may be subject to charges to have the tank emptied. GARBAGE/RECYCLING: please seperate garbage from recycling and compost material. Information is provided in the accommodation. If you prefer that we complete this task for you after check out, we charge our cleaning fee rate of $50/hour Smoking & Vaping For your health and enjoyment, the property is non-smoking. This is a zero tollerance rule. IF we find that you or any member of you group has been smoking/vaping anything on the property you will be asked to leave the premises immediately with no refund. Hot tub(s) The use of the hot tub provided is at your own risk. The hot tub is checked before and after guest use to inspect the condition of the tub and the water. Absolutely NO food or drink is allowed in or around the hot tub. Our hot tubs are located within viewing of other guest. Absolutely NO Nudity or sex allowed in the hot tubs and other public areas or you will be asked to leave with no refund. Please be sure to shower before using the hot tub to remove lotions, body oils, perspiration etc. We require a seperate swim suit for use in the hot tub which must be clean and are not to be used for anything else (tanning, on the beach or in any other bodies of water). If the hot tub is required to be drained after your use, or extra cleaning is required, or for any reason whereby Carolyn\`s Cove feels the cleanliness of the hot tub is not up to standard for its next guest, you will be charged for the nightly reservation for any guests that can\`t use it or to cover cleaning expenses at our hourly cleaning rate. Further you are financially responsible for any damage to the hot tub including repair and/or damaged or missing parts due to misuse. Only registered guests over the age of 13 years are permitted to use the hot tub(s). Hot tub use is not allowed during quiet time hours. Only used large patterned towels with the hot-tub. The chlorine will ruin our bath linens. The hosts were delightful and friendly. The tiny home took care of all our needs and the hot tub was amazing. We were also welcomed by amazing wildlife with eagles calling and a bear walking right by. The sunsets on the beach infront of the property were stunning as well.
