What a stellar experience! From the moment we stepped foot into the resort, we were welcomed with so much warmth and enthusiasm from every single staff member. I made a note that this trip was for my girlie's birthday, and they decorated our bed with rose petals, filled our bathtub w flowers, and even delivered a cake to our door while singing happy birthday. Denny, the manager, ensured everyone on the team was working in unison and now that we're at another resort in Uluwatu, we can't wait for our next trip back here at Wapa Di Ume in Ubud. Trust me, I rarely leave reviews- good or bad- but this was well worth it! This is the kind of resort that will shape your entire Bali experience.

Ubud hideaway

Absolutely fantastic place if you want to be close to Ubud, yet not in the middle of this busy city. Staff are so friendly and service minded - definitely a place we wish to return to.

Wonderful Staff

We were welcomed with warm smiles. They showed us where everything was and assisted with our bags to room. They even learned our names and addressed us by name when they would see us. The spa was wonderful and the food was so fresh and delicious. We loved Ms. Arike in the restaurant she took very good care of us.

Excellent mini villa.

The views are excellent and the service is extraordinary. The hotel is also very conveniently located near the art market and shopping area. Breakfast is really good too! Getting around within the property requires quite a lot of unsheltered walking.

Just had 3 peaceful days here. Pure bliss. Staff go above and beyond to be friendly and welcoming. Choices at breakfast were varied. I ate all dinners here. Delicious food at bargain prices (compared to U.S.). Drink prices were not as cheap, but I'm not a huge drinker, so it was ok. I used their spa (was given 20% discount). They offer free shuttle to/from downtown Ubud. Honestly, so glad I didnt stay in town..crazy crowded. This was much more peaceful. They has a cultural night with traditional dancing. And the property landscaping is gorgeous!

The staff were service oriented, very hospitable from the start and checking in via WhatsApp for our needs/questions and also for a smooth arrival/departure. The room does not have a tv but that wasn’t a concern for us just something to take note. It is really big and clean, the bathtub was amazing as well though the water may not remain hot to fill it completely. The breakfast is not a buffet but more than sufficient with many vegan and vegetarian options. Overall I loved the property and would love to come back

The peacefulness and the staff make this hotel outstanding . We got a free upgrade which was amazing and the rooms are wonderful . The tranquility of the surroundings are a welcome contrast to the chaos of Ubud centre where you can get a free hotel shuttle. Yoga and Lesminnie where both outstanding in their kindness and nothing ever seems to much to ask

Excellent value for money for UBUD

As good or better than the photos. Very large individual pool and huge room. Bathroom top notch and very clean and super quiet at night. The on site restaurant was better than anywhere else we ate in Ubud and staff could not be more helpful or friendly. Definitely stay there again unless this and other positive reviews push prices out of our range!

Awesome trip

We stayed with 3 kids (aged 7,5,2) for our 9th anniversary trip. We got lots of surprises from the villa (petals in bath tub, petals on the bed, a delicious cake and even upgraded room). They made us feel special. Very nice, quiet and privacy villa. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast can be served at their cafe or in the room. The kids loved it!

Wonderful experience. The only drawback was the extremely friendly Gecko which insisted on serenading us at 3am. Never knew lizard could be so loud! “Tuko Tuko!!”

The staff and service were wonderful. We stayed for one night last minute for a special occasion, and received an upgrade to a pool villa and a celebration cake. I also had a massage which was lovely. We had room service dinner which arrived quickly. We could hear the live music quite loudly from the room, but it stopped quite early (around 9).
