Stunning Woodland Views & Pool, Family & Pets Nestling in a quiet mountain location with breath taking views. This family cedarwood chalet has been owned by my family since it was built in 1960\. Recently renovated but holding on to family charm with hints of retro 60s feel !! Fully fitted kitchen, comfortable open plan living, 2 comfortable bedrooms and quaint 60s half sized bathtub. Including 3 port gaming flat screen satellite TV, USB charging sockets, electric log burner, no shower (yet) but oodles of hot soft water. Bedrooms are comfortable with mattress, pillow, dovet protectors and new bedding provided. There is a put u up single bed for use in living room if needed to make sleeping for 5 With multiple outside seating & eating areas, although due to mountain location not suitable for disabled access or unattended small children. Well behaved dogs welcome but must be kept on a lead. Site has bar & restaurant offering both eat in & takeaway, laundry, table tennis room and wonderful outside pool. Motorbikes welcome and owners can book you guided tours of north wales or off roading \\ trail riding too. Situated in the picturesque and natural beauty of the Snowdonia National Park, Woodlands allows you to enjoy the peace, relaxation and tranquillity of this cosy chalet. Woodlands is south facing, set amidst mature gardens and landscaping giving you the opportunity to appreciate the surrounding countryside. Surrounded by birdsong in the day and owls a night, wonderful dark skys for star gazing and badgers snuffling about you really are holidaying in the countryside. Only 2miles to Tywyn with wonderful sandy beaches, shopping, outdoor sports, restaurants, steam train and honey icecream .... Whether you are looking for activities or simply relaxation you are sure to find plenty on offer in the area. Sea and fresh water fishing, sailing, wind surfing, mountain biking, horse riding, golfing are all available in the locality. On the other hand you might just prefer to enjoy the areas abundant wildlife and historic sites or simply sit and relax overlooking the sunsets of Cardigan Bay. If you are a keen walker Bird Rock (Craig y Deryn) offers fantastic views of the Dysynni Valley whilst a trip on the narrow-guage Tal-y-llyn Railway is a must for all, stopping at Dolgoch Falls and Nant Gwernol where you can enjoy walks through the woods and to the old slate mine. Driving allows you to access the farthest North of Wales within the hour where you will find mount Snowdon, Anglesey as well as Portmeirion which was created by Welsh architect Clough Williams-Ellis from 1925 to 1976 to show how a naturally beautiful site could be developed without spoiling it. Portmeirion village and gardens is one of Wales' premier visitor attractions, welcoming over 200,000 visitors every year. Beautiful location with stunning views. Compact & cosy with comfy beds, very clean & well equipped, the cutest bath we've ever seen - easy to see how loved this little treasure is! Short drive to Tywyn & local attractions. There's little storage space but not a big problem. We had great fun playing Monopoly & table tennis when it was cold & windy, and a dip in the pool the day it opened. The owner answered all messages quickly - and left us a treat on arrival which was lovely! ##### Dinah L. It did us really nicely, even with 5 of us. The owner was really helpful and always replied to any communication we made with her. The beds were comfy, even the put up one. The view is great. Séjour de 4 nuits en août 2024 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Awab I. 18 juin 2024 Points forts : Propreté #### Really amazing place for families, almost perfect Really really nice place, so greensh very very beautiful, the air is so fresh and we really enjoyed even with rainy weather as we stayed at the chalet during rainy days and we really had fun time as my kids loved the monopoly and spend lots of time on it and other lovely games as well as the enjoyed watching tv at the night with amazing view at night, really nice experience. we really enjoyed on the chalet as it has really an amazing view in front of mountains and air is sooo fresh that we really enjoyed having our breakfast all together outside as well as having tea afternoon me and my wife. Needs to mention that the bus stop is so close just in front of the park entrance, the time of the bus at the area was little bit hard (2 hours between each one) but its acceptable, and most of the bus drivers are so kind and friendly, one of them asked me to pay just for adults and not for kids. The park itself is fair close to lots of amazing places (even for a person coming without a car) like the waterfall, the steam train, the beach and other like-heaven places. The only issue we faced is the internet, the wifi was unfortunately so weak and i tried to speak with reception but i didn't find them at their main building till the end of our journey, but it was not a real big issue as we used my wife's sim card data (she's with O2) as my sim card network was not good (im with Id network) It will be so so perfect if just has a better internet, but it is really amazing place 👌 ##### Awab I.
