Maison très accueillante, avec cour vraiment magnifique et bord de l’eau. Maison très propre et vraiment belle. On ne voulait plus partir, tout était parfait. Des souvenirs magnifiques pour notre famille

Great 2 weeks!
We had a great stay at the cottage. Such a beautiful and serene place. We even caught a lot of fish! (Striped bass). We have family in the area so it was a great location for us. We would definitely stay here again (I hadn’t realized that there was no guest laundry though, which was a bit of a pain for a 2 week stay. The closest laundromat is in Summerside). Hosts are very responsive Thank you!

Relaxing stay (but holy mosquitos!)
We enjoyed our stay in quiet Tyne Valley. The house comfortably fits six (close) adults (the walls are thin so you hear everything). Kayaking in the water was lovely, but it's muddy and full of algae so definitely not for swimming. The only downside was that the house was full of mosquitos from faulty window screens and the A/C window unit in one of the bedrooms. Otherwise we loved PEI and were happy to find such a relaxing location!

Hi Kaitlin, We are sorry to hear about the mosquitoes!! It has been a wet summer which brings out the bugs! We will be sure to check through the screens and the AC unit to hopefully clear the bugs. Super peaceful location - we loved using the kayaks. Great oysters and potatoes to be had. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Not like home but homey!
We knew we'd love this place before we got there because Collin and Laura were so helpful to us visitors from Scotland. The space was perfect for a teen, a twenty a 78yr old grandma and two frazzled parents and the cottage had EVERYTHING we needed and beyond. A couple of things needed checked and Collin came by as soon as he could and sorted them. Outside was a joy, we swam and kayaked each day, used the camp fire and watched the sun set. If you don't like squidgy silt and seaweed take some water shoes! Location wise it was perfect for our needs. Our favourite things to do were Beach Goats, Lennox Island, North Cape, getting shellfish from 5 star Shellfish andcthen barbequing it on the porch. We lived Moth Lane Brewery too. Thanks to Collin and Laura for a fabulous stay.

Great spot for families
Great cottage. Well stocked and has books/ toys for kids. If they don’t have it, you probably don’t need It. Great spot close to Tyne Valley and Richmond for ice cream, groceries, and a few restaurants. Easy access to the water for launching kayaks and watching sunsets.

The best home-base we could have hoped for!
We had a perfect stay at Laura and Collin's cottage! It was my first time visiting PEI and this gorgeous home was a great home-base for us as we explored - especially as the recommendations given were awesome. Location is great and the view was incredible (especially the sunset)! We LOVED having access to kayaks (we took off from their beach and went for a relaxing 3-4 hour adventure) and enjoyed the fire pit at night. We made most of our meals here and had everything we needed at our disposal to cook as if we were right at home. So grateful we stayed here!

Awesome cottage. It has everything you might need. It’s a bit far from things to see but if you don’t mind driving 30+ Minutes to get anywhere, it is an amazing place to stay

This is the Cottage you want!
I can't say with more confidence how incredibly lucky you will be to stay in this cottage close to the village of Tyne Valley PEI. Beautiful, clean, spacious, scenic; it has all one needs and more. So tastefully decorated, the cottage was a pleasure to reside in. Plenty of room abounds for family, friends or just a a couple needing a get-a-way. Astounding country side, friendly people, short drives into Summerside, Kensington and Cavendish. But, hey, just put your feet up and enjoy the water view, clean air and solitude. Enjoy!

A lovely, peaceful home!
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The owners have spent a lot of time maintaining and caring for the home and we were able to find everything we needed - their welcome package was very thorough and covered everything. The location is beautiful and peaceful and it was a lovely place to relax after a busy day. I also appreciated the responsiveness of the owner as I posed questions leading up to our stay; we travelled from New York, and they made us feel right at home after our long journey.

Great Choice!
This cottage was perfectly suited for our extended family needs in and around Tyne Valley. Had two small issues that the owner was very quick to address. Would definitely rent again if back in the area. Bonus: we experienced a gorgeous sunset!
