Tybee Beach Club 136 is a 1 bedroom, 1 bath condo located mid-island on Tybee Island, and is a great choice for couples getaways! Enjoy one of the best views in this building based on your top-floor location. The condo is very spacious for a 1 bedroom at over 950 square feet so you will have plenty of space to relax and enjoy your stay. The fully equipped kitchen is open to the living area and offers a nice breakfast bar. You'll enjoy the bright and airy living area which has a Queen Sleeper Sofa bed for any overnight guests and dining area for four. Sliding glass doors lead to a private balcony where you can enjoy the ocean breezes and the park-like atmosphere of the common areas of the most popular condo destination on the island. The primary bedroom features a king-sized bed, and the adjoining primary bathroom offers guests a jetted tub and an enormous walk-in shower which is sure to help wind down a long day at the beach. This condo is located on the third floor of the Tybee Beach Club building of the Beachside Colony Resort complex and includes access to the three pools, two covered garage parking spaces (unassigned), beach access, and an on-site restaurant, The Deck. The building has elevator access. You will be located right across the street from Memorial Park featuring a playground, volleyball courts, basketball courts, tennis courts, and the Library and YMCA. Beachside Colony has just completed an all-new expansion of the pool and patio area. Enjoy 2 brand new pools, one with a beach entry tanning ledge, all-new restrooms, and lots of space for guests to enjoy soaking in the sunshine on beautiful Tybee Island! Beachside Colony offers pool heat between the months of October-March. Pool heat is available in one pool only and is heated based on weather and mechanics and is not a guaranteed amenity. We especially enjoyed the view as the weather was not the best. The unit was well equipped although the pots and pans could use an update. They were clean and usable but food stuck to the frying pans. If you are light-sensitive when sleeping, bring a sleep mask. The bedroom is directly across the street from the well-lit Tybee City Hall. Otherwise, the location of this unit was perfect for us. This is the first time in this unit. It met all expectations. Clean, comfortable, convenient and quiet! Suggestions for improvement include adding a dresser or bureau so guests can store clothing that doesn't need hanging, as well as a suitcase rack. The property was exactly as shown in photos and as represented in listing. The view of the Atlantic was incredible —seeing the big ships and watching the sunrise from the covered deck was so beautiful. The swimming pools were pretty and everything was clean. The location is also perfect on Tybee. The condo was very spacious and had everything we needed on hand . It is a pretty drive into Savannah as we drove in there a couple of times . This property has the pool and beach access that made for an amazing stay! The house itself was comfortable and I had booked it for elderly parents with mobility limits (low vision, limited walking ability & wheeled walker use), and the house was well set up for them to move easily. The elevator access was so invaluable for them to get from condo to pool/beach and back. We also took advantage of the FREE service from the city of Tybee with their Beach-ABLE program that provided a balloon-wheeled wheelchair for beach access. The staff who helped us get access to it were flexible with timing and so friendly. Last thoughts on the condo... they appreciated the use of washer and dryer, but, the kitchen is not really set up for much beyond basic use is what they found (but not "real" involved cooking) . Condo was clean and spacious for two. The property was also very clean. Saw workers everyday outside maintaining the property and pools. Great view of ocean and pools from patio.
