For all communications please only communicate through the booking app. 1 King Size Bed, 1 Bathroom Upstairs Oasis set in a 1930s cottage with ocean views from the porch complete with Adirondack Chairs! 1/2 block from the beach, 2.7 miles from Tybee Island Light Station and Museum. You can also visit Tybee Island Marine Science Center, located at the end of the gravel North Beach Parking Lot, beachside of Fort Screven. Just 400 feet from the crosswalk to the beach access!! Regardless of where you end up booking on Tybee, before booking please look up local events/parades, road work, possible future storms, weather and tides. Traffic can be backed up due to major events or an accident on the island, or changes in weather like rain lead to a lot of people leaving the beach all at once, so it's a good idea to plan ahead and know what's going on! If you decide to go into Savannah for the day, plan ahead for your return at night. It is fully recommended to do this research in advance and to monitor radar on your stay. Tybee is a super fun place and our Island loves to have a good time. We often have fireworks for major holidays also which are well attended. During a Full Moon, especially on a Super Moon, a high tide or even a King Tide can happen which is when the tides are even higher than normal. While very rare, it is possible, water can also cross over the main road US Hwy 80 coming onto and leaving the Island so please plan ahead for that. The city and county may close roads temporarily as it isn't safe to drive through water so you may need to plan accordingly to arrive early or later to the Island. 1 FREE STREET PARKING PASS included w/YOUR STAY. ONE FREE PARKING PASS good for your stay which allows parking Island-wide in public spaces which is worth $48 per 8 AM to 8 PM per day! This is only good during your stay and must be returned to the room prior to check out. If the Pass is accidentally taken home or not returned, will be billed ($500) to the guest, and a police report will be filed, no exceptions- please be considerate and thoughtful to the next guests! These passes are not disposable and very hard to come by. Full kitchen to cook in with beautiful white Quartz countertops! Fabulous outdoor Sitting areas, plus access for streaming your Netflix & Hulu accounts! All pets must be preapproved before booking. We do not allow cats/other animals. \*Dogs are WELCOME! This inn is an older historical building, but VERY beautiful! There are a few different units with their own door, so it was a little confusing at first to know which door was the shared hallway door and which room was ours. But the check in process was easy once we figured out the door situation. Our room looked just like the pictures, and we were located only a 2 minute walk from downtown Tybee and from the beach. Though we went during the “off season” and it was a bit colder, it was still a great getaway and plenty of parks and exploring to do! We had our own balcony, and loved the shared outdoor space. The parking pass was a great addition to the rental, and we were able to park in front of the inn the whole weekend. We ended up in a cool little two story apartment a few blocks away with easy access to both the ocean and river side beaches. Very clean and convenient to the shops and restaraunts on the south end of Tybee. We'd happily go back. ##### Galen P. The island is a 20-30 min drive from downtown Savannah, meaning we got the best of both worlds by being able to go to the beach and city in one day. The room was extremely clean and had everything we needed, including beach gear which was fantastic. We loved sitting on the deck every night and loved the ocean view. If we are ever back in Tybee I would not hesitate to stay at the Inn again! ##### Elizabeth W. Everything was as described and even better. The room was well appointed and clean. Kitchen was just right for the two of us and the covered front porch was so relaxing. The beach can be seen at the end of the street and was half a block a way. Right around the corner and a half block over was a strip of shops and eateries - we counted 11 places to eat all within a three minute walk which is perfect if you want to spend the day at this beautiful beach and have convenient places to eat or relax. The owners were very friendly and easy to communicate with too. Honestly we could not have asked for a better location, place or experience. You cannot help but fall in love with 17th Streer Inn and it’s lovely beach. ##### Sam A. Parking was our only issue. The street in front of the inn was full at times as well as the lot at the end of the street. The host checked in with us via message throughout the trip. The location allowed us to experience the best of Tybee Island as well as Savannah. You wouldn't have to move your car if you didn't want to. Food, ice cream, and shopping are just steps way! Perfect location! Very clean and cute! The short walk to the beach was very manageable. We really appreciated the beach chairs and umbrella. We had an amazing time! Only needed improvement is a more comfortable bed. The sheet was placed over a plastic mattress cover without a mattress pad.
