It is actually between Kingscliff and Casuarina. The beach is a very short walk and nice. The pool area is also very nice. About the apartment - whilst we were happy with the accomodation we can't agree that it is spacious, it is compact to say the least but it is very comfortable. There is a terrace balcony with two tables and chairs. Things to be aware of - 1\. you pick up the keys at the holiday rental office in the Kingscliff town centre which is only open business hours. You can pick up the keys from the drop box to the side of the office. 2\. It is about 4kms to the Mantra. 3\. If you lock yourself out or loose you key tag, then you have to call the holiday rental management and it is a $100 fee for them to attend. If you had booked a Mantra apartment (all mixed with the private ones) you would only have to call down to the reception to get it sorted. When we booked it was only $2 per night price difference between Mantra and Holiday rental via Stays. We would come back but would book via Mantra as it is much more convenient. PS there were no wine glasses and no microwave oven. Provisions were very basic. Under cover parking was great. ##### John G.
