A short walk takes you to the creek. A short drive takes you to pastures with cows, goats, horses and donkeys. The cabin is well-equipped. It was stocked with everything you could ask for, dishes, towels, flatware, even coffee and we liked it a lot except for 2 things... the Internet was very slow and spotty. It seemed to do okay with the TV and our phones, but once the laptop was connected, all internet service stopped. This was the same for all three days we were there. Also, it might be helpful if one of the Uncle Joe's Creek Retreat signs were placed at the actual entrance driveway instead of a quarter mile away. Other than that, the hosts were awesome and friendly, including Blue, Uncle Joe, and Nikki. We enjoyed our time there other than the poor internet. ##### Dennis B.
