Drive South on Highway 307 Stay on Highway 307 for about 1.5–2 hours (roughly 120 km / 75 miles), depending on traffic. You’ll pass through Playa del Carmen and smaller towns along the way. Approach Tulum As you near Tulum, look for the large Tulum sign and roundabout directing you to Tulum Centro (town) and the beach (Boca Paila). Continue on Highway 307 toward Tulum Centro.
