I questioned the host about fragrance, (i.e., air fresheners and plug-ins) use in her rental prior to booking. Her message reply stated, "Those things are not used in my rental". Upon arrival, as soon as I opened the door, the perfume smell that appeared to be some sort of airfreshener had been used and was overwhelming. I was only inside the rental for an extremely short time. As I was leaving, I noticed the filthiness of the walls in sitting area. The neighborhood was sketch and corona beer bottels were on the porch of the building shown in the advertisment. The way the rental is presented, leads you to believe you are renting the building with the yellow door. However, the rental is a tiny home positioned behind the building in the advertisement. False advertisement is what happens with this landlord. Needless to say, the place had not been cleaned or sanitized. The owner or whomever she claimed was cleaning the unit prior to my arrival attempted to cover odor by spraying an excessive amount of airfreshener. I messaged the owner prior to pulling out of the driveway to advise her of my reason for asking about use of fragrances as they negatively affect my health.My advise to anyone considering renting this place is to locate a rental far away from this neighborhood and not from this landlord. ##### J T.
