I would mention that the Northstar village (restaurants and shops) are only open Thursday - Sunday in the summer )or at least June) so it was pretty much a ghost town on the Monday-Thursday that we were there which could be good or bad depending on your travel purpose. The only thing open was a pizza restaurant named Rubicon which was very good and had live music. Northstar resort is also at least 15 minutes from anything else. The location is excellent right in the village and a short walk to the pool and other property amenities. Unfortunately, the only negative feedback has nothing to do with the property itself, when we checked in, the front desk gave us keys to the wrong unit, which was occupied. This was an inconvenience as we were already unpacked with all of our luggage and parked in the wrong part of the garage. We have to repack our car, move it to the right area, wait for. new keys, etc. Not the end of the world, but was very frustrating and annoying at the moment. It was ultra convenient to stay in the village. The place was clean, super comfortable, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. The owner was responsive and easy to communicate with.
