Ideally located for outdoor recreation, enjoy being within a mile of all the Northstar California Resort amenities, as well as Historic Downtown Truckee (eight miles), Old Brockway Golf Course (eight miles), Tahoe Vista Recreation Area (nine miles), and Palisades Tahoe Resort (nineteen miles). Spend your days hiking, boating, or skiing and snowboarding on world-class slopes. Back home, enjoy access to the shared pool, tennis courts, and bubbling hot tub where you can soothe any sore muscles after an adventurous day on the mountain at the Northstar Rec Center. Cost of admission is $10 per person for rec center. There are many stairs leading to home. Inside this cozy oasis, feel right at home in the sun-filled, open-concept living area complete with high ceilings, expansive windows, luxe furniture, and woodsy decor that brings the beauty of the outside in. Gather around the wood-burning fireplace to drink cocoa and play card games, or stream your favorite movies on the large TV. A stylish, full kitchen boasts stainless steel appliances for creating delicious home-cooked meals with ease. Things to Know Check-in time: 4:00 p.m. Check-out time: 10:00 a.m. All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. I stayed here with my son for a sports tournament. We picked the location because we like being in Northstar and because of the proximity to the tournament locations. Over the 7 years we've come to Tahoe for this tournament, this condo was the most disappointing - especially for the price. You get what the pictures show, and the check-in process was the typical easy door code, etc. The problem was that the place was not all that clean (dirty towel in the 2nd bath, kitchen counters needed to be wiped down), the refrigerator is very musty, and the carpet on the main floor needs to be replaced (stained, damaged). The internet (and therefore the TVs) did not work for our entire stay, and we notified the property manager and never heard a follow up. The toilet ran in the master bath, and when I pointed that out by text to the property manager, they sent me a note to open the toilet tank and troubleshoot the chain/flap. For the life of us, we also could not find dish towels. Also, minor point, but if you do stay here, bring your own coffee because there isn't even a starter pack in the unit! All in all, you can definitely find better units at this price point and in this location. ##### James V.
