The apartment is spacious and there is plenty of room for a family. The building is old and you can tell the owner did some updates, but it still has the bones of an older building. The interior stairs are older and have lots of wear on the treads so they are uneven, so if you have mobility issues, maybe do some research. It's was chilly and snowing while we were up and the heating system struggled a bit to keep it consistently warm when it was super cold out, but it was good overall. You can hear noise from the other two units if there is music playing or loud talkers, but management handled the noise issues quickly. Our pets really enjoyed the space and it was very pet friendly. As advertised it is a 3rd floor apartment that requires walking up two levels to a nice apartment which was plenty spacious for our needs. It is located on the outskirts of the downtown Troy area that is being refurbished. There are several dining options in close proximity. Parking is on the street, but despite being out in the early evening most nights we were always able to find spots on the same block.
