Among the hidden paths of the Mediterranean scrub, in Costa Paradiso, there is a Domus perched above the sea that seems to speak the language of the water. A bright, white villa that feels like a great ship: wooden beams, the blue of the sea reflected everywhere, a small lighthouse on the window ledge, light curtains moving like sails in the breeze - all overlooking a Mediterranean that here becomes immense. This is Luisa, the Domus of the Sea: suspended on the cliff in the heart of Gallura, with the sound of the waves always beside her. A house on the sea that feels like a silent guardian.
The Villa
Villa Luisa is an embrace of white and blue. At the entrance, a wide veranda opens the way to the outdoor spaces unfolding toward infinity: lounges, a barbecue area, a sun-soaked terrace, and - just below - the private pool.
Inside, the open-space dining and living area welcomes you into a single panoramic room. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame the landscape, an immense table seats up to 15 guests, and the whole space is flooded with natural light. Mediterranean décor, simple lines, and marine-inspired details echo the water, the coastline, and the idea of sails catching the wind.
Next to it, the open and fully equipped kitchen with an island facing the living room retains the authentic soul of seaside homes: bright surfaces, handcrafted tiles, and natural materials. Finally comes the sitting room, intimate, cool, peaceful, with soft sofas and a telescope pointed toward the horizon.
The sleeping area of the main villa includes two bedrooms: – one double bedroom; – one twin room, perfect for young guests or children. Two bathrooms complete the main floor, including an en-suite in the master bedroom.
The Guest Studio
On the lower level, accessible from the outside and on the same level as the pool, lies the independent studio dependance: a private hideaway with a double sofa bed and bathroom, featuring direct access to the wooden poolside solarium.

The true soul of the Domus of the Sea lies outdoors: a large private pool facing the horizon, surrounded by wood, with a breathtaking view directly above the cliff, where the Mediterranean feels so close that you seem to be inside it.

The Setting

The pool was unusable the entire trip and there were loads of ants everywhere. We were promised $150 from the property manager. We never got our money. The property manager alleges it was paid, my bank indicates that no money has been received. Area was beautiful, and so is the overall home. Customer service from the property management was horrible.

Le gros plus de cette villa est sans aucun doute la vue à couper le souffle!! Panorama incroyable! Villa spacieuse, propore et joliment décorée. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour et Sonia est d'une gentillesse et d'une disponibilité très appréciable. Merci Sonia! Séjour à fin avril, piscine non chauffée donc non utilisable car très froide. Petite déception pour nous, le barbecue presqu'inutilisable qui meriterait d'être changé.

#### Schöne Ferienwohnung mit sensationellem Ausblick
Das Ferienhaus ist wunderschön gelegen und es sieht so aus wie auf den Bildern zu sehen ist. +++ Kleines minus: Der Bereich unter der Spüle und der Mülleimerbereich ist nicht gut gepflegt. - Der Ort Costa Paradiso liegt in einer einsameren Gegend, so das die Versorgungslage etwas schwieriger ist. Wenn man nicht so weit fahren möchte, muss man bei den Produkten in den örtlichen kleinen Supermärkten abstriche machen. Restaurants gibt es in den umliegenden Dörfern und auch in Costa Paradiso. Die Qualität dort ist immer sehr gut. Das Preisniveau ist etwas höher als in Deutschland.

#### Fabulous villa in a super location with nice pool
Amazing well equipped villa in a super location for walks along rocky coast, beautiful sunsets and very peaceful and quiet. Lovely to BBQ and eat outside almost every night ( stopped only by gale on last night ). Main floor with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms fitted our needs very well so we didn’t need to use the downstairs additional bedroom and bathroom. Utility room with washing machine very useful after our week away sailing . Super to have pool cleaned every day. Villa is about 70 steps down from road - so strong able bodied men essential to carry luggage . A very small ( and minor) comment would be the outside table a little small for 4 adults with food, plates and drinks .

#### Sehr schönes Haus mit sehr schönen Terrasse
Ruhige Lage und das letzte Haus vor dem Meer. Sofern die umliegenden Strände zu voll sind, kann man in der in einigen Minuten vom Haus entfernten Bucht sein Ruhe finden. Zwar kein Sandstrand, aber dennoch, aufgrund der flachen Felsen, gut zum Liegen geeignet.

#### Toller Urlaub mit Kind, Ehemann und Freunden
Ein sehr schöner Urlaub liegt hinter uns. Das Objekt hat eine wundervolle Lage. Abends hat man den besten Sonnenuntergang in erster Reihe! Was einem jedoch bewusst sein muss: man braucht ein Auto! Costa Paradiso glänzt durch die tollen Villen, die in die Berge gebaut sind, aber dementsprechend ist alles sehr steil. Ausserdem ist fußläufig nicht viel zu erreichen. Zum runterfahren ist es aber wirklich super. Als die Klimaanlage mal nicht funktionierte war direkt die Managerin an Ort und Stelle und hat alles direkt geregelt. Einen kleinen Minuspunkt haben wir allerdings. Es ist nur ein Doppelbett im Haus. In den anderen Schlafzimmern waren jeweils ein Klappsofa und ein kleines Bett. Dennoch empfehlen wir dieses Objekt gerne weiter und würden direkt wieder kommen!!

#### Wunderbares Objekt mega Aussicht
Sehr schöne Gegend, tolles Objekt. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit fast allem! Leider ist das dritte Schlafzimmer nicht im Haus sondern auf der unteren Terrasse. Dazu kam das es nach dem Winter nass und muffelig roch also nicht bewohnbar war. Wir haben das Vorort nicht bemängelt da unsere Kinder zusammen im oberen Zimmer geschlafen haben. Dieser Fehler sollte verbessert werden und erwähnt in der Anzeige damit alles stimmt. Sonst bleibt es ein super schönes Objekt und immer noch sehr empfehlenswert.

#### Stunning villa in stunning location. Don't book it, then there will be dates for us to go back :-)
The photos dont lie. We have stayed in dozens of villas, gites and holiday homes over the years in Italy, France and Spain and this is an absolutely amazing villa in every way. Either #1 or #2 in our all time list, though we still can't finally choose. Stunning location with an unobstructed view overlooking the turquoise blue sea and the red rocky coastline and wierd almost alien scenery of Costa Paradiso. No issues other than the internet being down on the night of arrival due to a storm earlier that day. Communication with Sonia was great throughout, inc resolving the above ISP issue first thing Monday morning. Would we go again to this area. Totally. Would we go back to the exact same villa, absolutely. That says it all. Should you book it... No totally not. If everyone books it we wont be able to go back!!
