Located just south of the town of Trinidad in Northern California, Luffenholtz Beach is a hidden area often sheltered by fog. Enjoy some time at this secluded spot by staying at this charming oceanfront cabin, overlooking Luffenholtz Beach. Sit on the deck or relax in the hot tub while soaking up stunning views on the massive deck of this incredible cabin. If you’re looking for the best cabin in Trinidad in Northern California, this is it!" Rest and recharge at this charming seaside cabin located two miles south of Trinidad. Great romantic getaway for 1 or 2 couples. The main cabin has a one room floor plan designed by a sailor, and has a cozy, nautical vibe. The Queen-sized bed is comfortable with top notch bedding for your comfort. This cabin has one full bathroom with a walk in shower. The sitting area has a Smart T.V. for spending comfortable evenings in. There is a second detached, small bedroom with a new Queen bed offers beautiful ocean views and a 1/2 bathroom. There is a fully fenced yard for one well behaved dog. The kitchen/galley is small but fully equipped for preparing delicious meals. Together with a propane bbq for easy grilling, you may dine inside, or al fresco on the deck to the sounds and sights of the sea! As sunset approaches enjoy a glass of wine from Tepona Point, directly across the street from your private driveway. Soak up the relaxation and sweeping ocean views from the 2 person hot tub! You may never want to leave! You can relax and explore for days and never get in your car. Take a picnic lunch to the tide pools and creek on Luffenholtz Beach, across the street from your cabin. Surf some of the best waves Northern California has to offer at Houda Point/Camel Rock, a 0.4 mile stroll down the road. Or, dare to bare at the popular (clothing optional) Baker Beach, a one-half mile walk north. One mile south Moonstone Beach, at the mouth of the Little River, is a favorite of locals (and is legendary for its hospitality to dogs!). It is known for its endless well of sea shells and sea caves. If you can tear yourself away from your cabin, a two mile ride north brings you to the charming town of Trinidad (population 304!). This seaside village provides you with all necessities, including gas, groceries, art galleries, and fine dining establishments offering local seafood, produce, and meats. It also provides one of the most pristine and spectacular viewing sites for our coastlines and migrating whales. Spend the early morning exploring the Trinidad Pier, and watch the local fleet unload their catch of Dungeness Crab and King Salmon. Hike the spectacular trail around Trinidad Head, or one of several trails taking you north to College Cove and Elk Head. Charter a fishing boat or rent sea kayaks or stand-up paddleboards. However, it should be noted that Scenic Drive is a coastal road that is prone to changing conditions. In several sections the road becomes single lane, with sections of dirt or gravel. Driving slowly and with caution makes this short distance easy to navigate. We found it clean and comfortable. It is snug but we (family of 4) had plenty of space. Location is amazing. It was super cozy, with truly stunning views that we took in from all the different deck seating areas and from inside the house. We loved going in the hot tub at night, listening to the ocean and looking up at the stars. The location is amazing, it’s very quiet (except for the ocean!) and private, and it’s easy to get to all the places we wanted to visit. The beds were super comfy and we all slept really well. The awesome lookout across the street was great for pictures. We found that being at the house, inside the yard was so peaceful, listening to the ocean waves crash.We will definitely come back for a longer stay. Two nights was not nearly long enough. While the cabin and guest house setting is good, the location and views are utterly amazing! We could not get enough of just hanging out on the deck, or in the hottub, and looking at that gorgeous view! Communication with property managers was prompt and helpful. The space felt just a little bit snug with 2 adults and 2 teens at times (only when we were all inside that is(,and the bathroom in the main house could use a little updating, but it goes with the charm of the house as well. We couldn’t be happier with our rental home and wanted to stay there longer. The beach access is easy and we had the beach almost to ourselves at times! Highly recommend! ##### Autumn H. Adorable little rustic cottage with big windows all around to take in the views. Hosts were extremely responsive to our inquiries. The landscaping was just gorgeous!! The shower is literally the size of a telephone booth, but other than that we loved everything about our stay. Close proximity to so many trails through the redwoods as well as beaches allowed us to hike nearly every day, which our dogs loved. We recommend the Seascape Restaurant and the seafood salad at Murphy's! ##### Lindy L. You cannot beat the location or view - the property is beautiful; the hosts reached out prior to our stay to communicate an issue with the propane - would mean no hot water / no cooking the first night. They offered to put us up at another property, but given the heat/ac still worked as did the microwave - we opted to stay. Could not ask for better hosts or hospitality. Property grounds are beautiful; the small cottage has everything we needed --- including a stunning view! We are already looking to plan our next trip. ##### Donald G.
