The owner/manager provided great information for checking in and operating things around the house. There was information on local eateries and activities as well. We felt so at home during our stay. Also, it's just a couple of minutes from my all-time favorite-Moonstone Beach. It's simply gorgeous - everything - from top to bottom. The location offers easy access not only to town, but both north and south coastal AND redwood areas. I highly recommend this for a couple with a dog. The hostess was remarkable with her communication. The cabin was very clean, comfortable and welcoming. Upon our arrival the cabin had a refreshing smell, was clean and a light was left on for us, giving it that lil etra touch of a "Welcome Home Feeling". The extra touches for the doggie was truely appreciated, dog bowls for food and water, a basket with doggie poop bags and a doggie cloth really made a dog welcome special too. We appreciated the convenience of a washer and dryer. The proximity to the beach was awesome, less than5 minutes by car and if you are adventurous, a 10 minute hike/walk to the Houda Point Beach and Camel Rock. Stunning sunsets!
