Shaded by mature oak trees and featuring a cozy fire pit, this rural haven is perfect for lake lovers, families, couples, or anyone seeking rest and relaxation in a quiet, homey setting. While the property is just one house from the lake, water access is via public docks and access points throughout the area. There are several public swimming spots and marinas nearby, and boat rentals are easy to arrange via boatrentusa.com. This is a home away from home – not perfect, but loved – and we welcome guests to enjoy it the way we do. In all honesty, we know the carpets need to be replaced. It's on our to-do list as part of future renovations. In the meantime, we hope you'll enjoy this lower-cost rental home with all the amenities you need for a comfortable and memorable stay. There is no lake access. All properties on the lake shore are private property. We wanted to do some fishing and had to drive up to Gun Barrel City to access the lake. TV service is poor at best. Your place was the second stay in our trip, and we absolutely adore your house. The weather was not conducive to going to the Canton first Monday sale like we had hoped, so we just stayed in and enjoyed the comfort of your home. We hope we checked out well, we left the beds unmade, gathered the towels we used and put them on the washer, gathered up our trash and put it out. We hope we left your home in as Good as shape as we found it, I meant to leave my bottle of di amore but my husband grabbed it. Thanks for the great place to stay. ##### Lisa S. Hubby wished for some coffee on days two and three, but other than that, the kitchen was well stocked for your needs. Loved the comfy couch!
