Lovely windows and high-end finishes have been used to create a comfortable atmosphere. Other things to note: This is an old building which has been lovingly renovated one apartment at a time. It is safe, comfortable and clean but also very quirky and definitely not perfect. You would be disappointed if you expected a modern exterior. But, the apartments are newly remodeled, plush, and comfortable. It is a blast to stay here, and it is hard to find a closer room to downtown at such a reasonable price. Living in the middle of the fun, sometimes means you can hear street noises from local businesses (late night dance music) or traffic. White noise machines available in the unit to block out unwanted noise and potentially promote more restful sleep. It was dirty -with hair on the bathroom floor and dirt/gunk stuck to the AC unit which was blowing into the room. There were hazardous one to 2 inch drops in the floor both in the bathroom and in the bedroom. The towel rack was broken, and we were afraid to drink water from the tap because it smelled like Clorox. We were up half of the night because we could hear guests staying in an adjacent room watching television and talking. I am in absolute shock that I paid $400 to spend one night in this place!! Every year my husband and i do a yearly trip to Traverse and i have to say this was the perfect place for our visit. Very close to everything downtown and right along the main road for lots to do within walking distance. There is a club right next door so it does stay loud well into the night but with children for the weekend the noise didn't bother us. Convenient for local attractions and restaurants. Loved being right next to the Broadman trail and lake. Also, when we woke up to a flat tire, the tire shop across the street was a life saver.
