This unique property offers a spacious main house with 6+ bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, plus a detached 2-bedroom, 1-bath cottage, all nestled on a peaceful 1.5-acre lot. With 100 feet of private lakefront on all-sports, 50-acre High Lake, you'll enjoy unlimited opportunities for boating, skiing, swimming, fishing, tubing, kayaking, and paddleboarding. Experience the tranquility and fun of lakeside living in this ideal family retreat. The High Lake Getaway offers the ultimate retreat for outdoor enthusiasts and water lovers alike. Enjoy boating, skiing, swimming, fishing, tubing, kayaking, and paddleboarding on tranquil High Lake, all without the hassle of crowded waters. Nature lovers will delight in the wildlife, including deer, owls, blue herons, and even eagles, visible from the deck. After a day of adventure, unwind by the fire pit at the water’s edge and gaze at the stars under the clear sky. The spacious home is designed with comfort and convenience in mind. The fully equipped kitchen, linens, towels, and washer & dryer make for a hassle-free stay. A cozy lounge area provides books, games, and a chess table, while a game table seats 4 and a pub-style table seats 2. For additional entertainment, there’s a flat-screen TV in the game room. Located just a short walk from Grace MacDonald Park, guests can enjoy tennis, basketball, baseball, walking/bike trails, a playground, and a pavilion with outdoor grills. The park also features 3 recently added Pickleball courts. During winter months, snowmobiling or cross-country skiing is right at your doorstep—just a quarter mile from groomed state snowmobile trails and one mile from the VASA cross-country ski trail. The property is also conveniently close to restaurants, a local convenience store, and only 5 miles from Mt. Holiday ski resort, which offers downhill skiing, snowboarding, and tubing.
