Liked the quaint place. Older place, lots of updates done, whould of liked someplace to set a few things in bathroom maybe small shelves and hooks. Bed was comfortable. It was clean and comfy.

Great location!

Bay Port is in a great location near everything there is to do in Frankfort. Whether you are coming with your family or traveling solo, BPL will provide a great experience. The check-in by "texted door code" worked out very well, and I was able to go straight into my room upon arrival on the property. The property/grounds manager, was talkative and filled with great information. I very much enjoyed my conversations with him. Housekeeping does a great job, as my room was very well taken care of for my arrival. Also, I was pleasantly surprised at the number of channels available through DirecTV. It worked out well to be able to watch so many games on a sports-filled weekend. Thank you, and I will definitely return.

The room was exceptionally clean except for spider webs & spiders in some corners. The beds & pillows were very comfortable. An older quaint hotel close to Main Street where there were stores & restaurants in walking distance.

Bay Port Lodging is centrally located along M22 and all the trails I love to hike. The room was clean, warm, and very comfortable. Staff was helpful and friendly. This is my second time staying here and I recommend it to others.

Fall color trip

Small, quaint place to stay, perfect for our color tour trip. Friendly staff, room was checked each day. Bathroom was a little on the small side (I’m 6’3” tall) but it worked. Could use a little cleaning under bed (dusty). Would stay here again.

Overall, the room was clean and cute, it could have used a picture on the wall or maybe a little more decoration. There needed to be more outlets, especially near a mirror, there were no outlets in the bathroom, which was difficult. We were there for a wedding And there needed to be more hooks/places to hang clothes up. The property was a little unkept. The staff was friendly and helpful though would consider going back.

Contacted the property ahead of arriving because of a confusing email I received. They were able to confirm our reservation and checked us in over the phone, which allowed us to continue our sightseeing and not have to worry about it. The bathroom was small but the water was hot. One downside is that since it's on a main road there was lots of traffic noise in the morning.

Some Pros and Cons

Pros: Room was very clean and the mattress was comfortable. Looked freshly remodeled. Cons: bathroom layout and room furnishings were not well thought out for resident’s comfort. You cannot stand at the sink without your calves touching the toilet bowl. No vanity. Large people would not fit this room. No place to hang coats or clothing. Hard surface floor with no door mat and gravel drive made for gritty feet. Very poor overhead lighting. And, I’m not comfortable with a window in a motel door with no curtain .

decor was very nice. lost heat during night, it got down to 60. tried calling but no answer. Talked to a lady in morning and she stated heat was repaired day before. She offered refund or another future night stay. I chose the second option since we would like to come back in future. Unfortunately, I have not heard from them by email or phone. Also killed several small spiders in bathroom.

Very cute motel centrally located to enjoy Frankfort. It has been recently updated and the rooms (we stayed in 2 different ones) were VERY clean.
