House is centrally located... only 10 minutes from restaurants, grocery stores, and downtown Traverse City; and very easy to get to Sleeping Bear Dunes and lots of beautiful Lake Michigan beaches. Our family of 7 (including a set of grandparents) was in town to tour Great Lakes Maritime Academy with our rising high school senior. This property is an easy 10-15 minute drive to Traverse City and the Maritime Academy and is the most thoroughly and thoughtfully stocked rental home we have ever stayed in. Aside from the location, we picked this home primarily because it is pet-friendly (we were traveling with our dog), has furniture/common spaces that allowed all 7 of us to sit & spend time together, and it had an ideal bed/bedroom setup. The home seems to have been recently renovated and is VERY clean and comfortable.
