Stroll in the other direction and you won't go far to reach The Strand, The Marina and Anzac Park, Tobruk Memorial Pool and The Waterpark. You can venture on the strand walk and go as far as the spectacular Pallarenda Beach at one end and the Marina at the other, enjoying spectacular views of Magnetic Island as you wander. We enjoyed being able to walk along the Strand each morning and easy access to many restaurants and cafes. We even walked from the Stadium to the apartment after a Cowboys game. Easy access to the pool was fantastic. Our kids swam every day and pool wasn't busy at all. We entertained family using the BBQ and the additional seating and kitchen amenities came in very handy during those times. The ferry terminal to Maggie Island is right across the road which was great for us to take a day trip to the Island. I would highly recommend this apartment for any family wanting easy access to all the great things Townsville has to offer. Brandi and the staff at Holliday Housing were very professional, friendly and helpful. I made this reservation from the USA and all the logistics went very smoothly.
