You'll receive comprehensive check-in instructions 24 hours before arrival, and we're available around the clock! • Access: The front door is equipped with an electronic keypad. A unique door code will be sent to you a couple of days before check-in, no need to meet anyone for keys. While we would love to welcome everyone, our lodge’s unique design includes stairs and no elevators, making it not wheelchair accessible. In addition, the property may not be suitable for children under 12 due to its setting. We appreciate your understanding. • Security Camera: There is a security camera on the various locations of the property, recording at all times, for your protection. Please do not touch or tamper with the camera or disconnect the Wifi, this is for your own protection. • Age: All guests must be 25+ with the exception of children with their parents. • Weather: No refunds for weather/natural disasters/power outages/other things that are outside our control. Please purchase travel insurance for coverage. • Trash: Please dump liquids into the sink and not into trash bags. • Critters: We have a regular pest control company that maintains the grounds. As we are located in a rural area, please note that bugs may be present on the property. Native Plants and Animals: This cabin is located on the river. As such it is important for potential guests to understand before making a reservation that mother nature and her loving family of flora and fauna may make their presence known including snakes, lizards, deer, bears, raccoons, spiders, ladybugs, wasps, bees, rabbits, excessive pollen, poison ivy/oak, chiggers, beetles, field mice, ants, cockroaches, squirrels, opossums, flies, walking sticks, coyotes, moths, and butterflies, just to name a few. And, although the cabin is on strict pest control and cleaning regimen our native flora and fauna may find a way to join you since you are visiting their habitat. • Pets: Well behaved & housetrained pets are welcome with prior approval at a flat fee amount of $70 per pet. Things to note: • The guest’s dog must have required shots, licenses, and tags, including name tags. • Guests must provide dog bedding/crate and towels to wipe off wet paws and fur. Cabin towels are NOT to be used for pets. • Dogs are not allowed on furniture or beds. • Do NOT leave your dog at the cabin unattended. • If guests’ dog sheds, please brush the dog outside daily. • As a courtesy to others, guests will walk their dogs to the road before allowing them to relieve themselves. • Guests must pick up after their dogs and discard waste properly. • Dogs are NOT allowed to be washed in the bathtub or showers. Guests may use the garden hose and spigot in the garage for such purposes on the driveway only. • Guests are responsible for cleaning up any “accidents” their dog has caused inside. Please notify us of any accidents or damage. • Guests are required to pay for any damage their dog causes. • Check-In/Out: The bed may be left unmade with sheets and pillowcases left on. Used towels/washcloths should be placed in the bathroom bathtub. All trash should be put in the outside garbage can. Close all windows. Make sure the door is locked before you leave. Check-in at 4:00 PM. Check-out at 10:00 AM. We charge per hour for all requests for early check-in & late check-out, based on availability. Please note we may not be able to accommodate early check-ins/ late checkouts. Please message us for more details. Please bring your personal toiletries like toothpaste, deodorant, etc. Linens/Towels: Linens are provided, comforters/blankets, pillows, bath towels, washcloths, hand towels, bath soap, 1 roll paper towels, 1 roll toilet paper per bathroom, and trash can liners. Don't forget to bring your favorite book to catch up on some reading! • All amenities are fully inspected prior to every check-in, however, we cannot guarantee their working condition during stays. If anything is under repair, we will immediately notify you and offer alternative accommodation or cancellation options. If an amenity or feature stops working during your stay but was reported working by our maintenance crew, we will attempt to repair the item but cannot guarantee the repair and no Airbnb refund will be made. • We do not offer rescheduled stays or refunds on cancellations outside of Airbnb's extenuating circumstances policy. We strongly encourage you to purchase travel insurance at the time of booking if you are concerned about the possibility of canceling your trip last minute. Travel insurance is inexpensive and a great way to protect your funds in the event of an unforeseeable cancellation. Check-in/out process was super easy. The only thing we found wrong was that the doors to the deck were a tad sticky, and deck/ chairs were in need of a bit of TLC. Nothing in the least that would stop us from booking with Laurel Valley again. Be prepared for natural visitors. We had a copperhead on the walkway, and a little lizard who was very curious as to what we were doing. As for the rest of the property, it seemed a bit ran down or in need of some maintaining. Pathway to the cabin was clear, but some stones were loose. Greenhouse was in dismay as well. Again, nothing that would stop us from booking, just constructive criticism. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will certainly be back! ##### Krislyn A.
