We want to give a good review, but the Suite currently has a significant Ant infestation & there are a lot of dead flies that need to be cleaned up (the window sill was not cleaned for a long time). We couldn't eat or keep any food inside the Suite, due to Ants crawling everywhere. Otherwise, lovely place, quaint, historic, quiet, nice decor, convenient key code, easy parking. We would rebook for another visit- but not until assured that it is cleared of the Ants. We discovered them in every area- bedroom, bathroom, sitting room, closet.

Really nice place. Chk in is a little late at 4 pm. Little needs Kleenex. Really great shower snd super comfy bed.

There is semen in my bed... Lots of it. I just arrived and the Cheltenham Suites number is going to voicemail. I will stay here until someone shows up to clean. I will find this person and get a refund

I loved that this property was on a river, with chairs to enjoy watching the water. There were also massive old trees to admire, perhaps 400 years old. Also, there was a shared deck to use if wanted. The room was in a (perhaps 200 year old?) building above a quaint country general store. Everything went very well with a code to get into and out of the building and room.

Everything charming
Escarpment suite is very nice. Bed is very comfortable, fridge is hidden but fully functional. Sitting room is very comfortable with many amenities. Very clean. Best part of Cheltenham Suites is the backyard, which sits on a charming little river, the Credit. We sat in the chairs and watched the water go by, enjoyed the breeze and the flowers, it was very peaceful. Staff at the General store downstairs gave us advice on where to go for lunch and sightseeing, which was excellent advice. Had a wonderful stay and will definitely go back.

A lamp on the night side table had been repaired with scotch tape around the socket holding the light bulb. It was both a fire hazard and an electrocution hazard. No one had swept under the dressers or bed for a very long time. Lots of dust and a few other items. While there was a plate provided to be used in the Microwave it had gold edging and could not be used without creating a hazard. The coffee was not real good. Nice the general store had great coffee and breakfast sandwiches. Lovely patio area to enjoy them too. Light bulbs in the ceiling fixtures were burned out so lighting was inadequate. The bed was very comfy and we enjoyed the quaint nature of the building. The cleaner of the apartment next to us could have been quieter. Someone checked out early and we did not need the music quite so early.

For a suite located a distance from certain amenities such as dining, we found the fridge a bit small aa we brought a few groceries knowing we couldn't walk to a dining location. Parking was nice and close but felt bad for takong up space for a business. Overall was a great spot.

We like the area because it was convenient for us. The building is gorgeous. We needed the extra bed sheet for the pullout coach and we found them in a bunch not folded and not sure they were cleaned and that was not cool. Room next door turned on their TV set at 5 AM, woke us up, not cool.

Lovely, and a nail to be dealt with
All lovely, however a nail head is sticking out of floor in main room. We put a band aid on it so that someone can avoid ripping up a foot, or see where it is to hammer it down.

What a beautiful place to stay. Gorgeous room. Great location. Lovely little village I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Oh and great sandwiches in the general store.

Loved the yard and the deck. No check in. Auto lock with code, great. Blinds could use replacing. TV remote needs instruction. Also fridge location, didn’t discover there was one till last day. It is not where you would expect it to be. A simple re-arrangement of furniture between sitting room and bedroom would make a huge difference to make space more user friendly. Art was beautiful. Linens very nice.

The code to enter worked but the same code to the room did not and this was at 10 PM at night so no phone number to call anyone just an email after trying it 20 minutes we left and had to find other accommodations, at night, a long weekend, sitting at the side of the road and everyone was booked so we found a 2 star motel by a noisy highway the owner never apologized tried blaming us ( the code numbers used are the last digits of my cellphone as the owner had indicated to use in the email)

Sadly, you ignored our attempts to fix this issue when we reprogrammed the door code and you refused to try it again. If you had been willing to work with us, this all would have been resolved quickly. We did provide you with a full refund as an offer if good will. We apologize again for the inconvenience this caused. Technology can occasionally act up.
